Hey guys, just a quick update with my VT.

i have just finished installing footwell neons (yes, i know...Ricer Mod). i am pretty happy with the result. they are very neat, no wires are visible and i have placed a switch for them in the center console box where the blank light is. enjoy

i just threw some pics up of the switch n the fuse. so people can see what i used.

thanx mate, they are really easy to install. it took me a couple days because i had to round up all the parts, n i went to the effort of solering clips onto the wires so i could disconnect them if i needed to.

its been a while since ive dated this thread. alot has happened. i had a crash not to long ago. wasnt too bad but ill post some pics up.

the damage has been fixed, by myself its alright but the bonnet flares up on the drivers side. but only by about 10mm so i can complain.

I had a 2.5" catback put on it at the start of the year. its alright... needs a chrome tip for it tho.

im also currently undergoing the painful procedure of removing the side strips. i just grabbed a set of vice grips and ripped them off. the drivers side door was the worst. the sikalfex was caked on. the passenger side looks like it will be farely easy, ill post some pics.

good luck with the side strips. I did one half on my car.. and left a huge bit of sikaflex.. I gave up. So i currently have one side with protectors, and the other done, except for a patch 5cm long haha
Let us know how you go and some tips please !

Also please tell me how you went with the VX Berlina boot conversion, did you have to rewire anything? I was hoping with the garnish all the lights are pretty well in the same place, also what did you do with the boot lock? cheers
