*UPDATE i spent today dismantling my headlights and re mounting my bumper

ended up painting the chrome inside my S1 lights storm grey, i reackon they turned out pretty good and definatly gave it a tougher look from front on, also i fitted my car bra just for a quick look, fits mint . . .. pics below

1 chev badge, and as soon as you come up with a way to colour code a HSV badge i will change it ???? +1 for chev badge easy to colour code and gives a clean ghost look

ok update

i had a GREAT weekend in Albany for the show and shine, i could not have ask for any more,lots of laughs with my much loved best friends , our club took out best club which was a huge bonus, the car how ever did not enjoy the weekend as much as me hahah on the super cruise on Saturday i broke an axle 10 mins into the drive, then on the way back home today 45mins out of albany the motor decided to let go.......TRUST ME this is not a bad thing there is so many things i wanted to do for the car but have been waiting for an excuse, now i can work on the bay and build a new combo,got a few ideas floating around in my head at the moment but the hunt for new hp is on, im not going to rush the build this time it will take how ever long it takes, the motor that is in it now will receive some fresh lifters and top end and will make its new home in the drag car, i needed the motorvation to get stuff done and it looks like this was it stay posted for some show pics ......

UPDATE

got cracking on removing the motor today not much progress lol got hot so decided to go inside and watch a movie motor is ready to lift out, all unbolted etc whipped the rocker covers and gear off half expecting to see a broken valve spring or roller rocker but they seem to be all sweet, must be my first thought of a dead lifter

heads are off the motor and it seems the whole cause of this mishap was a $20 plastic lifter tray, fair bit of carnage in there including a fairly well destroyed roller lifter and a cam that is missing half a lobe the lifter tray is a mess to, you can insert the lifter into the tray and turn it around(they should lock in the grove) , so it looks like the motor will be getting some tie bar lifters and a new bigger bump stick with some bigger heads.........AUSTRALIA SAYS NO TO PLASTIC LIFTER TRAYS GRRRRR
