HEY PEOPLE this is my 2-tone r8 clubby known as H1GHROLLR

for those of you that didnt know much about the car here are the specs

ENGINE:
ls1 full rebuild with race series bearings,full ARP stud kit,heads,rods, forged ross racing pistons,.635 lift custom grind cam,speed pro lifters,manley chrom-oly push rods,port and polished heads with custom springs three angle valve job shaved 40 thou,yella terra ultralite roller rockers,fast 92mm,nick williams 92mm throtle body,rollmaster double row timing chain,fast fuel rails and braided lines,42lb green top injectors,oil catch can and braided lines

NITROUS: NOS 200hp wet kit

EXHAUST:
pacemaker 1 7/8 extractors,200 cpsi hi flow cats,twin 3 inch difillipo stainless steel

GEARBOX:
T-56 manual 6 speed

DIFF:
3.91 lsd

TAILSHAFT:
custom UNI JOINT tailshaft to suit 1000hp

BODY:
two tone respray storm gray and quicksilver pearl

WHEELS:
20 inch bazo for street and mickey thompson front runners and slicks for track

FUTURE MODS:
turbo 400 with 5000rpm stall

POWER:
i will have an exact figure next dyno tune

not sure about that 2 tone, storm grey alone is a great color, but the sivler roof makes it look dull and oddly makes it look plain.

each to her own, as along as your happy. alot of money in re-spray like that

Sorry mate. Cant say Im a huge fan of the paint.

Do you still have the wing? I rekon if the wing was done in that silver it might look better better... The VX Clubby's just dont look right without the wing for some reason.

...and whats with the Chev badges?

with the wing it looked really bad because the wing hangs lower then the line through the car so the wing would have to be 2 colours thats why the spoiler went missing and there is only 1 chev badge it didnt turn out how i wanted i was going for like a ghost silver on silver look but i think im going to get the badge pin stripped

i dont mind the paint actually mate i reckn looks pretty slick...
all a matter of preference tho mate..

how much did the spray set u back if u dnt mind me askin??
and did they just lay the silver over the top?

it cost me $3500 and it was a full respray on the silver and they grey it was all primed first it was through a mate of mine so i got charged hardly any labour you could do it cheaper but i used good paint around $1000 a litre but it has a 10 year warrenty, , ,i guess some people will like it and some wont but its what i wanted so in my mind thats all that matter lol i went for a really clean 2 colour scheme so it would not look mixed up and fake looking . . . . cheers mate
