Here's some recent pics:

Just got some DBA slotted rotors fitted to the front of the car and some Bendix Ultimate brake pads fitted yesterday, the difference in stopping power was noticable! I'm going to look at getting an LSD put in next![]()

LSD will be going in within the next 2 wks if all goes according to plan, also going to get the Billet Servo put in around the same time to within a week or two of the LSD going in. Am thinking of an LSx conversion atm, instead of chasing horses with the 6, but then I'll have to get new headers and upgraded gearbox too I'd say

go 4 the v8 conversion mate
spend 5 g on the 6 and still only just keep up with a gen3 lol
Nice VX, looks rather slick, especially with the S-Pack.
For the 18"s you're deciding on, in my opinion chrome is over-used, but the black might actually go well with it. I mean not only because the car is black but if you get decent rims to suit the S-Pack it'll look radical.
thanks, yeah my plans have changed slightly, I'm putting the Billet servo in next wednesday, then the LSD sometime after that. As for the black and chrome rims, yeah I've seen it on other black commies it goes quite well, but everyone's doing it, this is the redwalls I was talkin bout http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/hal...s/halo_red.jpg I think they're quite striking and would look good, plus not everyone has them so it would be unique. As for the v8 conversion, yeah, I could probably do it, but I think what I'll do instead is do up the 6 for now (cam, supercharger etc) and then I'll sell it and buy an 8 when I've paid this car off lol

so you put the ss spoiler on? i would love to see it without the spoiler and slammed in black with those tailights it would be a nice look. still, clean car mate
Well technically the dealer put it on when i bought the car, however yes I got it put on, probably shoulda left it, but anyways i don't mind it too much even though every man and his dog has one, what I'd like to do eventually is get the monaro bonnet put on the front, however that's something I'll do a fair way in the future if I don't give in and buy an 8 instead lol, but thanks for the comments![]()

The billet servo goes in tomorrow, I want to know does anyone have one in their car? what gearbox do you have with it? is your car a v6/8? did it make a huge difference to the feel of the shift? I guess I'll find out after it's done, but if I could get some feedback before hand so i know what to expect...

3 psi skyline..ha.
Voodoo Blue SSV M6 sedan
355rwkw
had the Billet Servo fitted, has made a difference to the feel of the shift, not sure how much yet though as I haven't had much of a chance to test it, but there is a difference![]()

OK so I've tested it, the shift is a lot more solid, it launches through the gears pretty good now, the gears are a lot more equal in their changes too, so it was worth doing, but apart from quicker changes through the gears (and slightly harsher) and therefore quicker take off, there was no massive change. Definitely getting limited slip next...

looks tuff man, i'd go black wheels with white walls tho not red. should consitter turbo charging it insteat of supercharge, just an idea
thanks mate, I have actually started half considering turbo, at the same time it is a little rice...meh we'll see. Well it's been a little while since I last was on, and a couple of things have changed; Firstly, I now have Alpine 3 way S-type 250w 6x9's in the car. The story behind it is not that i bought them, but that they were already there. basically was putting some gear in the boot and noticed that the parcel shelf speakers (which i had never really looked at properly before obviously) had no wires on the terminals, what is more, one of the terminals had come away from the plastic mount on the speaker casing. I promptly took off to my local super cheap, and came away with 2 x 12 m speaker wires (shoulda gone the 6m but anyways better in some ways to have too much than too little). I then went down to the closest dick smith to purchase some more solder for my soldering iron and promptly set to work on getting these speakers operational. I soldered the new wires to the terminals (I left the broken one hanging as I didn't have any superglue and ended up just putting some electrical tape over the housing of the speaker where the wire could touch and ark out), took out the deck and promptly realised that whoever had fitted the stereo previously had done it wrong, by running the front and centre speakers in parallel off the rear speaker wires off the deck and soldering them on there. A little fail spec, so i decided to re-wire the deck. I promptly cut the wires and separated them from the solder and then went about re-wiring it properly. To cut a long story short, 4 hrs from the beginning of the saga I had a stereo that now cranks a lot more nicely than before and can be heard a fair way outside the vehicle. Apart from that I am considering starting afresh with a new project as i'm not sure whether I'm going to continue doing up this one. I haven't fully decided, but it needs a re-spray and there's a few cosmetic things that need doing and I've started getting to the point where I want to buy a v8 and work up from there with an LSx series engine...but at the same time I still love this car and I would like to make it into a tough 6. Anyways we'll see what happens as time progresses...

wondering whether to remove the plastic side strips on the doors? what do you think? One of them is already loose and hanging off, and it's started to annoy me, so I am trying to decide whether to get some more glue and put it back on, or to remove it?
My Ride: 02 VX Exec II, 192.2 rwhp v6, black
remove it, I wish I could take mine off but it's got the Calais chrome in it
I have removed the side strips now, but I need to probably go a respray...drivers side was stuck on with silicon and it was a major pain trying to get it off, ended up doing it by force, and damaged the paint under the strips. It does look better without them though. Also have hail damage from the storms in W.A. recently and while it's covered by insurance, I'm not in a particular hurry to push my excess up by claiming on it...Still have yet to get an LSD put in, but have saved a bit towards it if I do decide to go ahead. The way things are going I might just pay it off, fix the cosmetic imperfections and sell for an 8 but at the same time a lot of money and effort has gone into my ride to get it to where it is.

changed my mind, pics above, it doesn't look too bad even though it hasn't been washed and that sikaflex annoys me but yeah that's what she currently looks like

I have now swapped the front bumper for an SS bumper, not yet been sprayed so looks a little tacky but will get it sprayed soon and post pics. Also had it dyno'd at the JCWA dyno day at Kwinana Performance, my car pulls 192.2 hp according to their dyno...

What mods have you done to it to get that power figure? nice results too by the way.
Mods that have been done (to my knowledge) are listed at the top of this threadbeing a second hand car without much in the way of information about past service history etc etc it's a little difficult to say what exactly has been done other than exhaust, lowering, pacemaker headers, suspension, and SS CAI
