Vt acclaim ,gen 3, blue leather

Hey guys, im fairly new too the forum havin only been around a couple of months. Thought I would get off my ass and post some pics and info about my ride.
Havent got any pics of new motor or interior yet but will get some up asap.

Age: 19

Model: Series 1 VT acclaim 1998

Engine: Ecotec converted too gen 3 auto

Diff: 3.07 lsd. Plan on changing to 3.46 down the track.

Suspension: Pedders super lows all round Pedders struts nolathane bushes.

Interior: Blue leather from VX HBD Calais

Stereo: Pioneer head unit, Kenwood sub and amp.

Future Mods: MAFless tune, mild cam turbo/ twin turbo. Colour code side skirts. VX SS headlights and vx front bar. few other bits and peices.

Let me know what you guys think. feedback would be much appreciated.

Bit of a update guys picked up a new auto with stage 2 shift kit and 3200rpm convertor. Plus diff has now been upgraded to 4.11 with mini spool :-) also added a white venetian and lowered the rear a little more will try and snap some more pics when its clean and stops raining

haha wood love too go 4.11s but as its still my daily dont want too go 2 extreme. having said that i do have 2 single spinner diffs sitting in the shed that look like they could use a spool and some gears?? oh and a line locker would be fun lol

nice mate, its the exact same look as my vt (just diff rims) id recomend chrome window surrounds, i just put some on mine, look absolutely amazing!

um got everything i needed 4 conversion plus lsd and the dash out of the car so the k's matched the engine 4 $3300. Me a mate and the guy i bought the motor off done the conversion in about 1 and a half days.

Yeah i was thinkin about the chrome around the windows haha im waitin till i make up my mind on which wheels i want so i can decide if it will suit or not

haha yeh im kinda not aloud to drive it (p plate rules) so i cant really do everything that i want without drawing attention to myself. thats y i have done the conversion and not simply gone out and bought a gen 3. rollin on ceptors dress rings and caps atm haha am chasin a venetian also 4 the sleeper look lol. was thinkin of lowering it more white walls and venetian should look sleepy enough 4 me hah

Yer thats the go dude, you've done well i wanna drop a gen III in mine aswell though im not quite sure about how to get onto getting hold of an engine did you just get it out of a write off?

yeh mate had a wrecked vt ss. give me a yell when your definently guna do it and il check with the guy i got mine off. as he buys and sells these motors quite regulary. also there is usually a few on ebay so keep an eye out on there

Yer thanks man appreciate it i'll keep ya posted about it, itl definatley be soon becos i too am going to put off getting exhaust and a few other things done due to p plate restrictions, so i guess dropping engine in is best thing to do first.
