Here me new ride,
2001 Vu ute V6 auto
put new rims n tyres on it...

Im looking to lower it any suggestions on what i should do??

Also a new muffler to create an old rusty noice, are there anything like that on the market??.. not too loud but has some grunt

I dont know much about cars so your help would be much appreciated.. thanks in advance

are they the 18 or 19 inch SSV rims? im looking at getting a set soon, what did you have to do to fit them?

A set of lowerd king springs and depending on the condition of your shocks you might need to replace them, looking at about 150-200 for a decent set of springs, and roughly 300-400 for a set of shocks. all up you should be able to go as low as you want for 5-6 hundred if not cheaper.

As for exhuast, i stayed away from the ebay specials, just becuase you cant guarentee quality all the time, i went to my local exhuast shop and got a 2.5 inch cat back with only one rear muffler and stainless droopy tip, sounds pretty good, nice and lumpy and not "raspy" like some v6 exhuasts, i was very happy with the quality and service, i paid 400 and this included all new hangers and rubbers, this might be abit high, but i was happy to pay for quality. Go talk to a few exhuast shops till you find one that speaks your sort of language and talk him down! haha.
