Hey man congrats mate, im soo jealous thats exactly what i wanted lol white VT II SS haha. if you don't mind me asking what you pay for it? and was a private buy?
The best car safety device is a rear-view mirror with a cop in it.
mate do u live in werribee? pretty sure i saw u around the other day. i was either in my tiger vt ss or my shit box corola. nice looking car mate. id also love to know what you paid for it?
VT V8 i would love one but there is this problem called bout to be on p's (stupid restrictions)
congrats on the car
I ended up paying $9400,nice bloke was in a bit of finanical strife and wanted $10,000 (Private sale- Scoresby),came with a road worthy and he gave me a receipt for $1,100 he'd spent (2 days prior) at Fentree Gully holden for servicing, new windscreen, auto service ect
(as above) I live in Altona and go to Werribee heaps so most likely
Cheers Greg
Had the engine light come on and went to my mechanic who read the codes to find out the heater in one of the oxygen sensors wasn't working so i bought a couple of them ($153 each) and popped them in,also did a tower brace ($50) install.
Couple of things that are on the to-do list include:
New Aerial (clunking)Done
Single CD player (came as 6 stacker option)Done
20' Wheels (XHP Shorelines)Done
Ahhhh here we go,bugs bitten

looking the goods hereu got ur springs yet?
not usually a fan of big pieces of chrome but those rims are intense!
good work =)
Before Christmas i drove through the panel shop (My work) and noticed the dust on the rear tyres, indicating to me the the rear had a camber problem (common fault on VT-VX).
I decided then and there that the tyres wouldnt last long on the rear and took them off,and booked in to a suspension place for a camber kit and spring re jig.(SL on the front SSL on the rear) Went for a 2 point on the rear and on picking the car up realised 2 things.
1.Car was to low on the rear (for me)
2.Two point camber kit hadn't given me enough, needed to go 4 point
Back at work i thought id put the wheels back on to see if it was just me (not used to the set up) and if the 20's would be a harder ride than the 17's
Banged the wheels back on and drove around the yard, seemed the same.
Took the car out on the road and started to hear the rears scrubbing.
Lipping the rear quarters wasnt an issue, the ride on the road was,a fair bit bumpier
Just got back from the suspension place and had the 4 point put in and SL's on the rear fitted, much better for me and what I want, but the SSL's in the rear looked pretty awesome.
This is the way the car sits now which im happy with
Drives and handles great and while the suspension is stiffer, It handles the bumps well
Going to drive around for a week let the kit settle in then bang the 20's back on and get another 4 wheel alignment

i seen a super low king spring / GT shock kit on ebay. i asked him about super lowers on my s pac but because its 20-30mm lower with the EF2 suspension he recommends the ulter low kit! but i like the way urs sits but i onlt have 19's what do you fellas think?
