looks good EV, a few months late from when you had planned but still sweet, you would have to get it tuned when it is all done correct?

hate to sound like an absolute knob jockey,,,,, but what are you exactly doing when ya port it? are ya just making the holes bigger/wider up past the valve, where it breathes exhaust gas's and where the intake sucks in? or ya making the top of the cylinder bit bigger for some reason.

you are just making a straighter path for the air to travel and removing all obsticals in its way (make it more aerodynamic). i've widened the runners for more air-flow and smoothed it out

yes it will have to get tuned and that but i will be able to drive it around just wont be able to give it a kick for a while till it run in

    5% extra boost

the advantage is there is more torque and the charger spins up faster

looking at a new intake setup soon but for the moment i want just get it running

that big bulge thing is a PWR W2A barrel

Boost is just a measurment of air restriction, with the 64mm pulley i'm putting on soon + the over driven ballancer in theory i should see 21 or so psi but because of all my head work and a big cam i should see 14ish psi in the Lower Intake Manifold (LIM)

The PWR w2a barrel is an intercooler that uses cold water to cool air temps from the charger. less pipework that a FMIC so less boost drop down low so more low down torque and faster 60ft times. they are very good at cooling so the top end will be pretty chilly also, plus its 10cm of pipework from the intercooler to the LIM so no chance for the air to reheat back up.

will be making a new resiviour with the ability to put ice in there so when i go to the drags i will never have to worry about it ever getting hot

Added the YT snout and 61mm Pulley today and man it whines, but runs like poo up a wall because its still on the stock tune

So justin's doing that for me

So all i'm after now is a Alloy resiviour for my W2A setup (coke bottle just doesn't jut it), 8-rib setup & 4" Pod CAI setup to call it done

    here are some pics

well got justin's base tune 2day.. Plugged it in with a minor few mistakes :Alco:

took it for a strool and HOLY FARK!!!!!!

smoked up the rear and striped my charger belt to just 3 ribs :O

the flying strands chopped cleanly through my AC hose just when summer starts

looks like i need an 8 rib belt conversion now

GREAT THANKS TO ASTRO AND VNROCKET!!

will put up pics 2moz of my demoloshed AC hose

but sounds pretty good apart from the damage....

is the base tune just a mail order MAP tune thats available to everyone, or a special custom mail order tune just for your mods for u only?,

spewing, weren't sure if ya could do that.. i wanted to get brito's tune (from l67torq) cause getting his cooler and already got his rockers and wanted to get same size pulley and copy whatever else he had so i didnt have to get a tune but he thought it was too risky..
he's selling his car so wouldnt have made any difference to him..
