Smile 2000 VT Calais International L67

just thought I'd post my new ride up.

    it's a 2000 VT2 Calais Inter, L67, cream leather interior, 17" factory wheels wheels, FE2 height.
Im the 4th owner of it. 100% stock but i've got some plans for it later on.
I dont know how many were made its ment to be only 250.
Only came in storm grey, mine was optioned with the sunroof, some have SS kits, some have neither.
171kw motor out of the factory, auto, stock diff n exhaust.
Goes great but the traction is weird as (not as good as the VE come with)

    when I got her

that's very very nice mate. Personally I'd avoid the SS kit, the Calais International are that rare that putting an SS kit on would actually cheapen it...

I can't believe I just said that..... having an SS kit myself lol

    Good luck with it!

Yeah I vote neg on the SS kit as well. Maybe a HBD lip kit instead or something like it. Would add to it while keeping it all Calais understated too.

oh 250 sweet cheers for that mate, yeah kinda caught the bug.

I couldn't afford the VX inter so it was either find a VT Inter or the 50th ann Calais. There's a 50th Calais parked around the corner from me atm same interior as the inter cream leather

Could be aftermarket. Don't have a brochure for the VT so not certain if the kit was an option (i doubt it tho)

ok got a little update, I've picked up the FIT type S air intake, new air filter and the bored out MAF, plus the MAF is now relocated with the 4' piping. dont know what to think of the FIT lower box so wait untill I drive it some more. next thing on the list the 10psi pulley form MACE.

I also fitted some soundstream 6x9 tarantula series speakers too

    old MAF

    new MAF fitted

    new position n 4inch piping

I got the FIT 10psi kit and just fitted it on today here a pic.

I like how with just 6 small screws I can change my boost without to pull the hole lot off again, can only go to 19psi tho before you need all new gear.
