I love the interior mate and that sound system looks pretty tough. IMO the rear bar looks shit becuase of the fins on the sides but otherwise thats a pretty nice car. Possibly some dark/er tint
    keep us posted mate.

thanks for the comments guys, i live in hastings atm, but been shiftin around a fair bit lately... the interior was done by westernport trimming in hastings coz thats where the car always is. Cam, the owner does really good work and is very reasonable on prices.

Lol the rear bar looks shit in these pics because the wheels didn't fit under the guards, thats why i replaced them, every time i dropped the car down it would pop the sides outta the back bumper. I'm goin a VX senator sig front bar, maloo skirts and i'm still unsure bout the rear bar, all plastic though this time i'm sick of fibreglass.

And the cars got no tint coz i don't wanna hide the interior...

yeah i loved those wheels but they got really oxidised and the chrome was peeling off so i had to get new ones, now that the cars off of the road the new wheels are goin on my daily, so i'm thinkin of gettin another set of the jestalt3 for the wagon when its done, just get them machined to the correct offset this time...

The interior still had a bit of work in those pics and i never got to fix the boot install properly, but that will all be sorted this time round. I wanna put the amps in a false floor with orange carpet, and where the amps are now ill have a frame thing with two tanks the 4 compressors and a 20" screen.

cheers mate lol you'll be waitin a while i think its gonna take me at least a year, but should be pretty crazy when its done this time...

The bag kit set me back about $5200 but that was about 18mths ago, i think yhey're a bit cheaper now. My kit also had all the extras (auto levelling, dual speed valves, dual compressors, dual tanks).

Check this site out i think it has most prices too:

The wagons been put on hold til after i get back from my trip to qld at the end of feb, I have to talk to some engineers and stuff about some things i wanna do, but wanna wait til i'm actually prepared before i go see them. So i'm just researching and drawing stuff up at the moment.

Looks really good mate, what sort of volume are you getting with the stereo? is everything running off 1 run of 0awg?
    Cheers.
Umm not too sure how much i was getting outta the system, but when it was only 2 subs i was getting low 140's, that was in a box built to specs though... this setup was a lot more for looks and sacrificed on output a bit.

Having said that this setup sounded a hell of a lot better than my old setup, which was basically half of what i have now, even at high volume the bass wasn't overpowering the actual music.

Oh and i had a run of 0g for the system and a run of 0g to the engine bay for everything else, upgraded all the engine earths, and 4g from each amp, then 2 0g back to the battery.

ahhh i ripped all the interior out and took it to him, so all he did was trim the parts and i put it all back together, i paid about 7500 total that was 4 seats, 4 door trim inserts, dash, center console and lid, glovebox, fuse cover, and roof lining...

i love your car, who's idea was it to install those lights in your roof lining?? thats so cool, i have those lights in my house!! they must light up the whole car! got any pics of it at night?

Cheers man, ya not wrong about hard work, especially makin the stereo boxes, amount of sanding is ridiculous!!!
Not surprised you haven't seen the car, it was off the road for 2 years then i only drove it for 6 months before the 6 blew... hopefully will be back on the road a lot sooner this time round.

    AWSOME CAR!!!!
    Got any pics of engine?
Nah no engine pics yet, its sittin in a mates shed round the corner, been sittin there for like a year now! Its out of a VY commodore n it had only done 50,000k's n i got it for 2000 so can't complain there.

Sorry mate I love big dished chrome wheels it'll always have em, unless I decide to change to black on black, but i'd still have a chrome lip and they'd still be the same kinda style!!!
And as for the 6 speed I wanna get one but I'm tryin to get as much as what I've got so far done to perfection before I go out and buy anything new, so it's 2g that can be spent elsewhere... But it will def happen down the track

Awesome... I'm not HUGE on the rims or clubby kit OR it being a ecotec.

But the interior is sweet and a wagon on bags is a win any day of the week.

    Nice work mate.

I usually have a passionate hate for chromies, and even more so for dinner plate chromies, But these actually look good! Top job mate, I can appreciate the ridiculous amount of effort that's gone into every little thing for the interior. I had a few curiosities: What's the big f*** off screen in your dash? Dvd screen, or touch screen gps unit or something? And are they downlights in your headlining?! And do you have a back seat? I sure can't see one. I'm a huge fan of black on black, So yes to the black rims with chrome lip! Now all you need is tuff6's engine and chrome intake poking through the bonnet and you're set..
