My First car. :D

Hey everyone. I'm 17, bought this about 2 weeks ago as my first car, looks pretty ordinary at the moment as i'm doing a 1st year bricklaying apprenticeship and 6 bucks an hour isnt much to work with :P

It's a '98 VT Exec. 5 speed manual. 150,000k's. Rego till December. Paid 4,900.

Future Mods:
19" VY Senators.
Ultra's for the back end, Supers for the front.
2.5" exhaust. 3" tip. just the one muffler.
Sub, amp, 6x9's.

You could also get some series 2 rear tail lights and side indicators so that the orange bits are clear.

But that is a good base, well done

yeah the series 2 lights would be a good upgrade, I dont like those clear "performance" lights you get from super cheap,, makes your car look super cheap... personally i dont ilke fins either, or body kits,, the 19 inchers will look nice, maybe colour code the side mirrors? tint the windows, it will look good and be much cooler

Very nice first car! Nice clean canvas to work with and the manual makes it worth it.

Although I disagree with the future suspension height.
with supers in the front and ultras in the back itll sit like this > \

stick with either ultras or supers all round, in vic and expecially melbz the cops love low cars.
to keep it legal with 19s stick with supers all round.

ahh true. though many of my mates around my area have manual VR/VN's with the springs cut so much the car sits on the bumpstops and never have been pulled over, though i'm not sure whether thats just luck or our local cops intelligence. but probably best to stick with your suggestion of supers all round, save me the hassle. thanks.

took it to our local tyre and wheel joint yesterday, he can put a full set of supers in it, camber kit and a wheel alignment + labour for $750. might get it done next monday.
