Just got a new camera so i figured id outdate my thread.
Since last post i have completed my fuel tank conversion. ended up cutting the spare wheel well out and welding in a flat piece of metal. new tank hold 110 litres. also took me 3 hours to polish it but it came out looking like a mirror.
got a new twin 2 1/2" exhuast made up with 4" dump tips.
rear bumper plastic welded the tow bar whole ( who tows anything with a monaro anyway ) and got it painted
    installed a pioneer head unit
upgraded brakes to 4 pot all round with bigger rotors

Yeh im a bit over the chev badge too. I want to do something different with the grill but there are no options out there. Im thinking about making a Stainless Holden grill. not sure how i will do it yet though.

alright guys, a quick update of the munro.
I've just finished installing a new sound system.
Up front is an Alpine iXA-W404
    front speaker are pioneer TS-D1720C
rear parcel shelf and rear quarter panel speakers both have TS-D1602R
2 Rockford Fosgate amps both 300rms. 2 channel to power the four rear speakers and 1 channel to power sub,
    1X 12" Pioneer TS-SW3001S4 slim subwoofer 1500watt.
with all monster cableing and fuses and the whole car done in Dynamat.
I also installed a couple more subtle interior LEDs while i had the car apart.

I strongly recommend dynamat. i was a bit skeptical at first but even the sound that the dynamat keeps out of the car is unreal, even with the stereo turned off.

even though it took me a lot longer than i thought it would to build the boot and install all the gear. It turned out awesome in the end and is exactly what i wanted.

    Enjoy!!!

And may i also recommend that if your looking to buy any stereo gear for your car that you check out sonic electronics in the US. If it wasn't for the awsome currency rate at the moment and i wasn't put on to these guys i wouldn't have touched my stereo.

The headlights with the angel eyes were from america. could probably pick them up pretty cheap now days. but they arent legal over here.
I ended up changing back to the standard vz monaro lights anyway as i think they look better during the day.

    Thanks mate.

While im at it i thought id show you guys the new wheels i put on my car. Iwanted to change the look completely so i thought id try some chrome shoes.

I also put some standard vx commodore lights on and to my surprise i reckon they look good. This is only a recent thing so i don't know whether they will be staying on for long.
    What do u guys reckon?

I think they look great! probably should've opted for some Calais or Berlina ones tho as without reflectors you could get into some trouble with your insurance if you ever get rear ended. :-)
