if your going with extractors/headers and a cat back, then you might want to think about high flow cats.
also once you have done those mods look at getting a custom mafless dyno tune done, this will allow you to get the most out of the exhaust and intake.
then from there you have the choice of looking at force feeding it, supercharger, single or twin turbo setup, or keeping it N/A,
if keeping it N/A then you start looking at things like headwork (valves, stems, seats, port and polish, blue printed) all expensive then stroker crank out to a 4.2 litre i think i seen one not that long ago, (who wouldn't have wanted a fuel injected 253 back in the day?) then either way you go (force fed or N/A) you start looking at the rest of the drive line, tranny shift kit, stage 1 or maybe 2 depending how much power your running, diff gears depending whether you want a quarter mile king or a sensible highway cruiser thats still good on fuel
just a few ideas mate
James
p.s if you go turbo or supercharger then you'll want to look at the headwork aswell just to be on the safe side

Pictures are up, looking into getting the cover for the LPG tank built this weekend.
So I found a problem the other day, the cars battery was shorting out & wasnt charging. Orginally I thought the battery was ****ed. Turns out t was a terminal problem. So after frorking out $100 for a battery I then had to pay another $50 for two terminals. But its all good. Returning the battery Monday and getting $50 back which I will put into my "Car Fund"
So. It's been a while since I've posted any updates on the car. Just picked up a set of Calais tyres. Need to get some center caps for them but. Hopefully I'll have them this weekend. With pictures being uploaded not long after that
Change of plans. Looking at a set of VY Calais wheels.
Gotta love the blueis this the olympic edition?? goin of wat i think is the badge on the garnish boot strip?? U wont really need the high flow cats the stock 1ns r just fine unless ur doin some serious work but i think u can save some cash there.

So a bit of an updated.
Yesterday was driving home from work and had to come to a stop because there was a few cars turning off to a side street.
I'm patiently waiting when I hear a set of tyres screech, a loud thud & then a quieter thud. I then realised my car had been hit, but only as a dominoe effect.
First thought that ran threw my head; "Oh f**k, I'm meant to have a cruise this weekend", then all three of us pulled up off the road to inspect the damage. I check the car who caused the accident.
It was brutal, the entire front end was pushed back into the engine bay & smoke was going everywhere. His FORD FALCON ute may be not be making a comingback.
Then I had a look at the guy in the centre off it all. His rear end was pretty badly damaged. Gonna need to replace the entire bumper & bootlid.
Then I walked around to the front, the part of the car that hit me. Looking closer, there is about 5l of coolant all over the road/curb & his front bumper/grille is hanging but a thread. A small world considering I use to go to highschool with this guy
Poor kids had his license for two days so he is freaking the f**k out because his FORD XR6 is insured under his mums name and the paperwork for his to switch it was being processed today.
I, hesitently, assesed the damage to my machine. All I'll say is, thank f**k for towbars. Sure that thing has completly ripped out this kids front end & radiator but it sure saved my ass, litterly.
I took a look to find nothing but a few scratches & a few "dings" I think the bumper cover is a little loose so the insurance company may replace it.
No one was hurt but, hopefully will be riddin' a new bumper by next week.

Man that's good news that your car was alright! Might see you on a WA cruise soon ey.

So got the car serviced today.
Don't you just love it when a service goes exactly the way you want it, no issues, no problems
Had my spare tyre fixed. Just need an Auto Trans Service come Monday.
So I'm all ready for the JCCWA Monthly Cruise this weekend.
Sorry about the shitty quality, f**king iPhone cameras are so shithouse.
So thats the damage, insurance will probably wana rip the whole thing off & want to replace it.
Any chance they'd go for a full HSV kit?
Will be prepping the engine cover sooner rather then later. Painting next weekend
