haha im an idiot just realised you said it was a photoshop of someone elses car. ss headlights looks good, you did the same thing as me and didnt do the little bit on the side i didnt seal one of mine properly and its got condensation in it so im gonna take them out and do them again....so much effort tho!

yeah i wasnt sure whether to do the bits on the side or not. SO i left it
I think mine are getting condensation as well.. but oh well ! Way to much effort, Ill be buying some new lights eventually anyway.

PURCHASED SOME VENETIANS !
The previous owner cut the bottom two to make room for his breaklight, so will attempt a DIY to fix that. While im doing that i will spray them white ( they are currently cream ), also considering spraying the verticle supports red. Thoughts??

Also picked up a new head unit, the Alpine CDE 103, ( attached photo )

the thought of the two cut ones was driving me crazy! so i decided to do a quick fix.

nice fix there, what did you use, the venetians arent really my thing, but on some angles they look good, like in photo number 2, but its what you like in the end isnt it, its your car after all. how is it in the rear view mirror? difficult to see out of? i wouldnt paint them red, just paint them white, i think the red might look a bit tacky. nice headdeck as well. did you upgrade from the standard deck?

Thanks mate, i just used sticky tape haha, as a temp fix. Trying to sus out how to fix them permanately at the moment. Ive beeen getting a lot of bad reviews, but each to their own i guess. I like them.
The view is terrible ! My rear tint was hard to see out before hand, and now the reflection from the venetians make it almost impossible. yeah i might just stick to white, and maybe grey for the verticles, just to break it up. Just playing around with ideas.

Nah, i previously has a JVC head unit, which is now for sale. But this new one is a lot better, very happy with it

The venetians aren't my thing but if you like them that's all that matters.
I also have the same head unit as you, I love it too. Were the photos with the other 2 cars (the other VX and the VY) taken at the Frankston beach carpark?

Ive got a new solution to my venetians problem, Im asking around now to see if i can get them fixed properly. Yeah im thinking a matte white would solve that problem.. hopefully ! The ipod cable, does come from the back, and goes through the glove box soo much more convenient, my other head unit had cables everywhere. This one is alot tidier.

LthlThrt: Yeah, i have a solution to fix my venetians, just asking around to find someone who has the right tools and may be able to help
The head unit is a lot better! My old head uni had cables going everywhere, so this one is a lot neater. The USB cord goes from the back and out my glove box. Loving it !

Siggz: Cheers mate Good to hear some good feedback on the venetians. I was considering spraying my stockies white.. Mix it up a little, but ive noticed some other cars with it.. So not as keen anymore. Was after a unique look.

sweet, that is good when they can go through the glovebox, that is where mine goes through, USB for the headunits is in my opinion the best idea they had for the headunits. so easy to put new songs on and off, dont think i could go back to not having one. hope it goes well with the venetians

love the venetians man look mint, nice fix btw haha. I'm getting a similar headunit to you, im getting the cda-117e, always loved alpine headunits, really good to use, and will be a good upgrade from my current pioneer.
