    Hey mate,
Isnt it a safety concern that the lpg sticker is there in the first place - in case of crash etc?
    Nice car though.

    Cheers.

ive got a series II VX lumina with the SS front bar like urs... did urs fit perfectly flush all the way around, or did it pop out slightly on a side near where it joins the guards? (lookin ar ur pic, it looks like its not quite flush under the drivers side headlight... like mine lol)

also, lemme know how u go with the OTR job... ive been thinkin about that myself

Yeah mine's Bermuda blue, pretty common colour, haven't seen one with the SS kit though, so it should stand out a little bit.

Do you mind if I ask how much the Rims cost??

    Simon-t

nah mine never cliped in on the side showing in the picture, i think its the bracket where it clips in is missing, ill probs have a look at it when i take off the front bar to do foggies and when i put on the side skirts and rear bar. its a very common problem apparently..

Yer im looking to do it soon cause i blew my CAI up ages ago and my engine gets way too hot :P
I may even do a DIY job there are a few posts on it, will save like 300 bucks.

got my bday coming up and tax back soon so ill be able to get the rest of the ss kit then ill chuck em some pics

    Isaac

Yer, thats it, cause they dont make spacs or ss's in my colour so its something different that you dont see just like your colour.

Nah man, they cost me $1,000 off The Trading Post.....was on ebay one night looking for some VY GTS's they started on these and checked out SSV's and there they were

They were on 245/40/R19 with about 85-90% tread. Although i had to buy 2 new tires on the front (245/25/R19) cause they were hitting, so when i burn through the rears ill get the rears on 35's

    James91

Yer, the only reason i went with fe2 was because i didnt want to put in superlows as mine is a SERIES 1 and it would have serious camber issues. On FE2the problem isnt any worse than when i had mine 16"s on and normal FE1 springs.

This is the best i have, i will take a few pics next week when i get the ss kit on....but it sits (when in drive) with about 1/3 of the tire not showing, hard to explain and this picture is taken from on the ground so it looks higher.

hey mate, realllly nice car, LOVE the colour its really nice.
quick question, did you get a camber kit after putting superlows arround?
if not do you have and tyre wear issues?

thanks mate i cant wait to finish her off

i don't have super lows on, i was originally going to but when i got the 19's my mate gave me his fe2 springs so i put them on. It doesn't look that low surely.
Mines series 1 as i said so there will always be a tiny camber wear problem and it wont be any worse by using fe2 springs, and the 19's dont make much of a difference but no serious camber problems I'm assuming going any lower would probs be needing a camber kit

haha my bad must have read it wrong.
im just confused weather or not im going to NEED a camber kit when i put my super lows on in a week or two. i need new tyres as it is so i cant afford to be wearing these ones out twice as quick, until i get paid haha

nah thats cool man, yours is series II which means that it already has camber kit (brushes stock) to try and fix the problems that series 1 had with slight camber wear.

I would assume that by putting anything lower than FE2 that it would cause camber problems but im not sure dont know enough and you would only find out when you got a wheel alignment they would tell you.

man finding funds is the hardest i drain my account every pay day

i got them off ebay from justcomm auto salvage they are decent and only $120, fits perfectly and plugged in all good
you still have to buy the switch and harness for them which is about another 50-100 or something.

just took a video of my exhaust, doesn't sound as good bit of background noise but thought i'd post it up. Going to hopefully get extractors done in the next month and maybe remove the rear muffler (apparently it makes a bit of a difference) i have no idea about this stuff..
