    Default davo's vt wagon

    here is my holden vt wagon it not much atm

    Model: vt 1999 VT
    Engine: 3.8L ecotec

    Current mods: lowered, 18" vz ss rims, 2.5" custom exhuast, hi-flo air filter there is probley some i missed

    Sound system: 2x sony explod 1300 watt subs, keenwood door speakers and head unit, keenwood 350watt amp

    Future mods: calias style theme or ss look, some 19" vy senator rims, double din touch screen cd player, bigger amp and subs, chrome grills and more



    when it was dumped on ssl with 17's

    Looking sweet so far

    It depends on what you want as far as future upgrades, I would do a stereo upgrade and a manual conversion and repaint the gray lower bits on the rear bumper. Those wheels look sweet though

    yeh nice mate, ive always had a soft spot for wagons, also i reckon go a vx ss front on it, looks heaps better.

    Nice wags! Definitely looks better where you've painted the bottom mouldings silver. I wouldn't put an SS front on it unless you're going to do a V8 conversion... Makes it look tacky but that's just my opinion.

    yeah i dunno was thinking either do like a cailas theme with that grayish silver colour and get the fog lights. kind of want a clean look to it. or just get a vt ss bumber

    manule conversion isnt realy somthing id be looking into the cost and time is pretty big
    maybe a vy rear supension conversion if i can find a wreaked wagon
    v8 conversion is a possiable thing depending on funds

    ok well only progress on the wagon is im doing the valley cover gaskets while im at we are gunna give it abit of a polish and clean it all out

    thanks mate, it got a few dents will get them fixed up once i get more cash, we done a bit more got the valley off cleaning up the gaskets oil was leaking into the coolant trev rekcon bout 20,000 more km and it would of been ****ed. gunna clean everything and do some polishing gunna get the injectors cleaned. hoping be back on the road on the weekend.. so been walking everywhere lol

    its looking good with those rims, i wouldnt worry about manual conversion thats big bucks get some monaro headlights and ss front end and seats for a nice but hugging ride ....! it will look a treat..

    thanks i like them rims, dont wanan go any bigger. i will start doing some more upgrades once the cash gets up, atm just getting it to run nice.

    some more pics we just cleaned up all the parts
    top part this was cacked in carbon we tryed soaking it with heaps of cleaners and still made no differance we used petrol in a presure pack and a wire bursh drill bit


    throtel body was cacked took over a hour to get it to what it is at now

    ok today i got some chrome grills they need to have the center resprayed black but there allright for only 10 buxs
    dunno if i should strip them back cause there chrome under the black paint

    only upsates so far are iv lowered the car back on my ssl rear springs and put my chrome grills i reckon looks alot better, im looking into a vy rear suppension conversion if i can get some more info on someone that has done it on a lowered vt as my camber kit s stuffed and still chosing weather to do my rims that goldish colour or try out matt or gloss black, and thikning either coulor coding the bottom lips or that dark silver coulor cailais have

    well been awhile since iv done anything on the wagon it may be going up for sale soon if i can get this loan to make way for a new car.

    mum brought me a vt ss lip from xmas though which i have fitted just isn't painted yet. had a new camber kit fitted. rims are going to be painted black also the front end got a respray was lucky i was parked at work a guy hit the front and hit all the spot that needed repairing (:

    thanks, every one thought nar leave them so i did 2 and all my mates where like oh that's sick. yeah spent 500 dollars in springs to get that height. not doing to much to it may be for sale see if the bank wants to be nice to me. so rather not spend more money into to. just paint the lip and side skirts. and get the rims back on her again

    already cleaned it girlfriend has the pics of it when it is cleaned going to put them up soon. hard around here to have a clean car so many bugs right now

    it in the shed still. havnt had much cash to get the head lights and painted. and mum didn't know i had a ss bar so she got me a ss lip.

    well i got my ss lip painted be the last mod for abit as the guy i hit 5 months ago now deiced to claim for 2000 of damage from a little scarp i caused on his quoter panel
