Veeery nice example of a VX SS mate, it's amazing how cheap you can pick up ex cop cars for in the auctions etc. Loving the green manifold!

Do you mind if I ask where you had the aftermarket sunroof installed and how much it set you back? I'd like one for my Calais as all Calais' should have one haha.

And you gotta love WA's P-Plater rules. They're bringing in power restrictions here though apparently, won't effect you though.

Yeah mate a clean look is the way to go, not a fan of all the ricer bling bullshit.

That's not a bad figure for the sunroof, will definitely be checking them out.

Keep us posted as you go, I'm interested.

And just so you know man insurance companies won't touch you in wa if your 16 and want to insure a V8. I'm 19 and I had to insure it in my dads name. You'd be better off getting a nice clean 6 first up

well my uncle has an immaculate vx s pac done 68000ks and his real fussy person so like its like showroom condition im considering buying it of him becuase his getting a gts very soon? but his is a supercharged six so im assuming the unsurance would be the same as a vx ss?
by the way its a 01 series 2 with a full factory ss body kit foglamps and all with leather seats sounds tempting but i love an 8 ....................decisions

haha mate i dont want to hijack sweeneys thread here
but i would be grabbing that asap
as far as i know insurance companies wont charge you to much more if you say its a supersix
i know for sure they will let you insure it because its only a 6
anything with 8 cylinders and they wont even talk to you

i think youd be better off with a 6 straight up, then you will appreciate your 8 even more
