Mrs Macca's VU SS

Went down to Batemans Bay yesterday and picked up a VU SS for my girlfriend.
2001 VU SS
Completely stock atm other then lowered suspension
Few small things to fix up (respray fron bar, few small scatches etc) and the first thing to go will be the VY badges on the back! lol
152,000kms on it and has full log book history at Holden dealerships so seems to have been well looked after. Picked it up for a pretty decent price to I think.

Nice ride, fix the paint on the front bumper and it will be heaps clean. How much did you pick it up for?

And hahahaha Kneiver, wont be any kids gracing our lives for a while (although I wouldnt say no to swaping cars :P )

$10.8k, thats very cheap! Even just the v6 vs utes still go for like $7k, good score!

Bit of an update.
Front bar has been resprayed
New twin 2.5" cat back exhaust
And today, new 18" XHP Jet black rims!

And Devil, lmao! She's always wanted a SS ute. So was so proud when she finally got one. Haha. Plus now I get the advantage of being able to cruise with a car load of mates as well as the practicality of a ute in the driveway whenever I need one :P

^^^ agreed, love the rim choice on the t macca, jets are cool aswell, but i'd want the paint inverted, black spokes with th polished/machined lip, but they suit the white ute like that

Thanks everyone. Yeah the hardtop came with it when we got it but was in need of a good polish up. Came up well with some elbow grease. lol. And yeah we both reckon the Jets tie in nicely with the look of the white ute.

It was a tradies ute. And it currently has a dent along the rear left side panel that was there when we bought it (for some reason not hugely noticable in the above pic but is in person) So its no doubt had several dings over its life. But why what have you noticed?

After I saw the white grilles on this I considered having my front bar sprayed the same, but have since decided to keep with the black as I think it'll break up my car a little more and give it a more 'macho' look in comparison to that

Looks good though.

Looks good though.

Yeah personally I like the bar broken up with black grilles as well. But doesnt look to bad on the ute as at least it has the black surround headlights. If it didnt have those though it would look a lil plain I think. Im gonna install some black mesh in the lower opening on the front bar to give it a lil more black to help break up the 'all white' look. lol
