02 VX Commodore

OK guys i figured out how to put up pics now... i think, so here it is. What do you guys think? I wanna try to tidy up the engine bay a bit, Like polish the Plenum and see if i can get a big mouth Air intake... Going get some rims too, when i get some money coming back in. Also going to drop it on Super lows all round. And get a 2.5" cat back exhaust for it. I don't think I'll need extractors considering it's manual, but tell me if i should if they make a bigger difference in sound quality. What else would you guys recommend me do to it?

the extractors should give it a better note, and it looks clean man
and take off those mud flaps, makes it look weird

clean car. yeah take the mud flaps off i did that straight away there not the prettiest to look at. some of the guys on here do a 2 hole mod to the air intake there is a write up on it. i polished my plenum check my ride to see how it turned out

i say take it off, makes it look like weird, spoilers dont suit the commodore's except for the club-sports and senators.

Hey mate nice ride i just got myself a vx in a manual AWESOME cars hey. I got 2.5exhaust with pacemakers gives it a awesome sound hey deff worth doing hey. Yer spoiler off mate looks way better also get a k&n with a ss induction kit you can notice the difference. Part from that looks sick mate.

if you had a ss spoiler i'd say leave it but the s pack spoiler looks dicky

Hey looking good mate, very clean. First thing I did was took the engine cover off and sanded/polished the Plenum and it looks great. SS Growler Intake is what I want, what rims do you have in mind? SL's all round, 2.5" cat back with extractors will set it off real nice.

My suggestions are things like, SS headlights, Wiring up SS foglights and installing the foglight button (there are DIY's here on the forums), I'd take the spoiler off, some people widen the mouth of the intake but don't bother if you're going to get an upgrade, paint your calipers red, suits commodores real nice, new dash, headunit and sound system etc.

That's probably a good start for now, looking forward to seeing progress. Cheers

awesome man very clean I wanted to get my ute in that colour but settled with white. mines on SL's has 2.5 exhaust and polished plenum. Im looking at getting a manifold and plenum spacer from MACE.
