To be honest, I didn't have the exhaust installed.. I'm the 3rd owner and the 2nd owner never bothered to find out what system it is..

I wish there was a way of knowing? All I can tell is that it's 2.5" catback

That's no good, would be one of the first things I would of asked if I was the 2nd owner.

Try getting under the car and having a look at the rear muffler or even cat they may have the logo or name stamped into the metal.

Woke up to this, this morning..


It's in the shop as we speak, getting a $100 second hand VX Un-tinted front window which has about 3 slices in the window and looks rather ugly, gotta get it tinted this afternoon.

man that sucks, i used to always worry when i parked my car on the street about this sort of stuff happening. Now im lucky i have a carport to park in, i'd never park it on the street again

Yeah I feel for ya mate. This is something im actually paranoid about. Lock up garage to fit my SS and my ZX6R is the first thing I look at now when looking for a place. If it doesnt have that, no matter how much I love the rest, I forget about it.

Thanks guys, unfortunately it has nowhere else to stay until I move out I guess.. It's parked safe in the driveway tonight though..

Just an update, took it to the window place today and got the new-second-hand window put in.. the scratches don't look too bad but I have a feeling the tint will make them stand out once I get it done.
As I picked the car up from the bloke, he told me that just after I checked it in, another VX and a VS pulled in - who live very close to where I live - with the exact same smash on the drivers side..
They managed to get the VS unlocked, must have found the lock-nut and took all four rims as it was on bricks when he found it. The VX was the same case as mine as they couldn't unlock it but they took all the nuts apart from the lock-nut.
I guess some ########s went on a rampage last night.. I live in a pretty decent neighborhood as well, guess no one is safe.

I'm hoping they have given up and won't comeback..

the best thing i did was put on an alarm ive had my car vandelised 3 times and they tried to get in for the sound system as soon as the car gets a nice little bump from some ####wit bump the alarm goes off
i live in a good area to mine is the only car in the street that it happens to so i dunnno

Thanks mate, yeah there were quite a few cars on the street last night.. guess mine is just that lucky ....
I wish I could put an alarm on a smashed window, they would have to force it open for the alarm to activate.

That sucks man, I'm lucky I can park off street but I'm always worried when going out and stuff about this happening good you got it fixed and they didn't get anything else. I always deadlock my car no matter what.

Just a bit of an update, went away for 3 weeks - came back and battery was dead.. After jump starting it 4 times over 5 days I finally put a new battery in it and it's working fine.. What a pain in the ass though.
Some mods I'm getting in the near future:
- VX SS Headlights (Waiting for one on ebay)
- VX Clubsport Drivers Kit (Waiting for one on ebay)
- VY Steering wheel
- VY Sunglasses holder

Let me know what you think about these.

Sound like some good plans, I'd do your ss headlights yourself, cost me about 10 bucks and an afternoon. Well worth the savings when you can get them from eBay for up to 200 bucks!

look flush in my car, replacing the cup holders? I really want one of these and have been looking for a while and this one is always on ebay but was never too sure about it.. Will it look odd/cheap/out of place or anything? Or should I get one?
