    Default vt s pac 5 speed manual. new pics page 2

    Build Date: 2000

    Colour: Blue

    Engine: 3.8l Ecotec

    Gearbox: 5 speed manual

    Diff: stock

    Exhaust: pacemaker headers with 2.5 inch mandral bent catback and a hotdog

    Brakes: stock

    Suspension: FE2 front and kingspring sl rear with gabriel ultra shocks

    Wheels/Tyres: VE SSV's 19x245x35

    Stereo: JVC head unit, JL audio C2 evolution splits, , clarion mono block amp, pioneer 4 channel amp, 2x12" pioneer subs

    Purchase Price: $8,800

    Current modifications:

    SS inductions intake, heat shield, headers, wheels

    Future: vx boot garnish, mace roller rockers, intake and plenum spacer, msd coil packs and leads. leather is on the list aswell as a sunroof.

    just picked up this vt yesterday so will get better pics. getting bboss madison 18's on wednesday then ssl rear and sl front in few weeks

    heat shield is on as well as the ss inductions intake now. heat shield is rubbing on the rocker cover so i'll take it off and cut 10mm off with a grinder and see how it fits.Jeff i sold it to my lil bro because he wanted a car so i upgraded

    Yeah you told me that on facebook before :-P needs more pics.thought a VX S would've been more recent and better than the VT S lol.but good to see you being a good brother

    1FATVT only 121,xxxkm on it. After owning this i would never buy a auto again the manual is a lot better.

    Jeff the vx was nice looked clean from the outside but isn't anywhere near as nice as the vt.

    bought a vx boot garnish for $72 on ebay just waiting on postage then i'll get it painted and some vx stock tail lights or monaro tail lights.

    should pull off ur hvac face and take out the buttons out of mode switch and paint the back off it. should give it a cleaner look

    i thought about that but i don't want to over do it and make it too much blue as i will get blue leather next year

    got a jvc dvd player with the navigation and blue tooth kit. jl audio splits and a pioneer 4 channel amp putting out 130DB.

    Looks good mate, how much did you pay for the SS Induction (if you don't mind me asking) and was it difficult to install?

    i swapped a carton of beer for it off a mate. the filter is 110 at autobarn and the intake is 380 from autobarn from memory. i have a stock air box that is modded to fit the intake. it takes 10 mins to put on. the airbox has those star head screws so you'll need the star head bits you can get a full kit of them for 20 at autobarn.

    front of car got hit by a 4wd today, the driver is paying for a new front bar so looks like i will be getting a monaro front bar now

    got a vt ss front bar because old one got a tow ball in it. monaro tail lights came in post just need boot garnish painted and there in.

    looks sweet, love the dash and screen, looks so smooooooth. nice work on getting the monaro tailights, are they the genuine ones? how come you didnt go for the monaro front bar?

    yeah there genuine. i went with a vt ss bar cuz it was easier to get. selling it at end of year so not too worried just making it look good.
