Sold my VS and went back into the VT-VX range...

Picked this one up from the written off vehicle auction, came with most of the goodies that are on it today but spent a lot of time taking them off to have it pass the pits.
Damage wasnt major so all i needed to do was replace almost every panel due to scratches and a small patch of panel beating on the rear quarter.

Stereo: Alpine 103EBT - Bluetooth, iPhone, USB, etc...
pioneer 6.5inch throughout powered by kenwood 500W amp
2 x Pioneer subs powered by Alpine F450, 450WRMS amp

Build Period: 3 months

Costs: Too cheap to mention :P

Future Mods: Done about as much as I wanted to do on it. Just gotta fix up a few of the small things. Oh and a Calais garnish please

ahh, i have the same HU in my beast system, the screen shits me a bit displaying #### all text, however the USB + ipod cable is handy

Yeh i agree about that, for a top end unit it should be able to display more lines of text but i love the bluetooth and iPhone cable part of it.

I have tried a USB drive in it tho and found out it only recognises 100 songs per folder so i split my music into 3 folders but now it takes 4 or 5 attempts each time to make the stereo recognise the usb without saying "unit error"
I gave up on the USB port because i may as well have 150songs on a disc rather than 100 on usb

ohhhhh god! I thought that was my USB stick, that pretty much confirms its the unit then!

Yeah i split my hardstyle up into 4 different folders of about 95 tracks, all the other folders are straight albums and are max 20.

Yeh i thort it was my USB too til i read the manual properly, but since i split my songs into multiple folders it just wont work properly, are you having that problem?

Yes, I hate that i have had to do it BUT when i bought the car there were major scratches down both sides and i had to buy panels from the wrecker which came off an SS
Will eventually de-badge it all but we all know thats not the easiest thing to do without leaving messy marks

nah works fine accross multiple folders, as long as i dont got over 100 songs

cost me 1k with the $500 stereo included lol also had king spring ultras and the lukey exhaust all already on, add another 1 or 2k for parts and rego....i think i got lucky with it

so glad i didnt paint that rear quarter yet as it now has a new dent, took the motos out and one of the trailers belted the side of it...not too worry...

I bought the car covered in way too many stickers, i have taken off about 4 or 5 already....all that remains are the ones pictured below...

I have been slightly undecided on what to do with these ones as some people have said keep them on but others have agreed off would be better.

Any thoughts on which to keep n which to lose would be awesome, thanks
