    Default VTL53 - 10sec VT SS with LS3 & NOS, Coulsens, Monaro Front + Heaps More.

    Car: 2000 VT SS
    Colour: Tiger Mica
    Track Times: Best to date 12.9 @ 109Mph. (Old Combo, 220 RWKW mafless, 6spd Manual)
    Cost To Date: Heaps. I gave up counting after it got scary :P
    Build Time: Been off the road for 6 months now.Should be ready before Christmas 2010
    The Future: Run a 10 sec pass. Kicked off track. Get printed. Enjoy cruising in my freshly rebuilt ride!

    Cheers mate. Its my baby, i try and take good care of it

    Depending on what existing components your reusing (exhaust & otr & UDP etc ) to put the built ls3 in 'could' be done for around 10k DIDO. There is that many different options to chose from however, and unexpected costs, that it can sneak up on you however.

    Have had a bit of a play on some private track over the weekend. 80km/h roll on powerskids are addictive lol. No drag times yet. Shoukd see them just after new years all being well.

    As far as prices go, Everything is publicly availible with these guys. No secrets here. Completely FDC free. Engine was purchased from NJC, speak to Nick he is fantastic. Personally i optioned for the full package of ARP bolts everywhere, lifters, springs etc. Cam was fitted at HDTCQ as well as engine install an tuning. Jez really went over and above the call of duty for me. To say he is brilliant is an understatement.

    How did you go with the reluctor wheel issue, did you change the reluctor wheel or use the lingenfelter convertor box? If I had to go a new motor in the VX SS in the future I would go for an LS3 but have often wondered which is the best approach to the reluctor wheel problem.

    Changed the wheel. One less thing to go wrong its not a big deal when the motor has to be stripped down to do rod bolts anyway.
