i think he got the monaro bar, head lights and fog lights as a pack off ebay. because i seem it on ebay with the same pictures being used thats all. $1400 at the time correct me if im wrong tho

Yep picked it up locally off ebay. The Dude payed something like $1500 for them brand new from Holden. Got him down to $650. Pretty dam happy with that lol.

Not sure how it will look the HBD Kit though. May end up putting SS sides and rear on it.

Yeah but i got all Gen headlights/Fog Lights as well. And mine is brand new. But still $180 is pretty awesome

Yeah i did and i really like it however i really like the badge on the front rather than the bonnet. Would have been cheaper too but oh well lol.

Speaking of badges, anybody know how to get the bonnet badge off..? Any idea on costs?

All seriousness, i love the monaro front kits and lights, I want them on my VX too.
Feel more than welcome to check mine out, and leave any opinions too.

Will look mint once the front bar goes on mate, Love the V2 Front ends. Should tie in with the HBD kit nicely. I wouldn't bother going SS Sides and Rear tho, every man and his dog has done that, HBD and Monaro front will be like nothing else on the road. :-)

nice ride dude and good pickup for the front bar and lights, when i put mine on my vt i paid $350 for the bar from holden, $280 for aftermarket headlights and $50 for foglights that i had to stuff around trying to make fit so for genuine gear thats a mad price. as for the bonnet badge it is stuck in place with double sided tape like adhesive. however there are 2 locating pins which will leave holes in the bonnet they are about 4mm round from memory so you may have to get them welded up or putty then either touch up or respray for a better job, shouldnt cost too much to get it sprayed if your getting the front bar done at the same time.

Well what a disappointing day I have had. Got quotes from local panel beaters to get the bar sprayed and the badge taken of. The going rate seems to be about 250 to paint the bar plus another $350-$400 to get the bonnet done.So it could end up costing way more than I have budgeted to pay. Sadly this is turning into something I just cant afford. So much to my displeasure I have decided to sell the Bar, Lights, Badge and Grill and look at maybe an SS Front. If anybody is interested please send me a PM or just reply here.

Bad luck mate, you dont think it's worth hanging onto them just in case you find somewhere else? Im not sure about the welding in the bonnet, but the bar and bonnet are relatively easy to install, you just have then take it to a body shop or auto paint shop. In my suburb and nearby, the going rate for those 2 paint jobs are about 80 each, which are a hell of a lot cheaper than your area, and seem like trustworthy fair dinkum places.
I'd throw an offer your way, but there's a few things i wanted to do first, and running low on the bread too :/

There are about 4 panel shops where I live lol. And I've got heaps of other random things to pay for like Rego and insurance (which is freaking expensive when your my age) and when your earning piss all a week like I am you have to draw the line somewhere. Also me and my Dad can install them so that price didn't even include installation. (he is a Holden mechanic lol). Would rather do things like this to a V8 when the time comes. But by then I will probably have a VE lol.
