I may be getting a Eaton true-trac soon and if I do I will be getting the diff doctor to fit it for free, and I will stand there watching him the whole time he does this. I will also get all the parts that he takes out of my diff and I will then go to another diff place to get them to check the condition of the parts. If they agree that it is worn out, I will forward this information to fair trading and they will follow it up with him and push for my money back. This is what they told me to do the other day.

I started to fit the charger today, I removed the harmonic balancer and fitted my other one with the supercharger pulley on the front of it. Now all I need to do tomorrow is re-tighten the bolt back up to 270-325nm, then bolt the charger onto it's bracket plus a few other things and I will be all good to goFINALLY Then I will have to fit the intercooler.

Update:
The supercharger is finally in, just took it for a drive a couple of hours ago, and WOW WOW WOW so much more poke
Now to fit the intercooler, then get some piping made up for it, after that it will be tune time
I will get some pics up very soon.

I just ordered an Eaton True-Trac for my car
When I get it, I will go back to the (Diff Doctor) who reconditioned my diff that wore out after 3 months, I will get him to give me a sheet specifying what he did to my old diff, then I will tell him to install the True-Trac (he said he will for free) I will then watch him do it once he has installed it, I will take all the parts he takes out of my old diff and take them elsewhere to see if he replaced all the parts he said he did and if not, I will go back to fair trading to get my refund.

Well it's a little late, but anyway.
This is a picture of my new car battery, it's made by the people that make the Oddesey racing batteries, which retail for around $400+. I also got it for free which is a bonus.

Nice mate! Have been following your thread for a long time now and man have you come a long way.
What soort of power are you getting out of the Powerdyne..?
Thanks mate,
I have not had it on a dyno just yet, but I can tell you it has so much more power.
I wanted to install the intercooler, the twin 200CPSI cats, bigger injectors and external fuel pump (which I have got in my room) then get a twin 2.5" exhaust. after all that I was going to get a custom tune. Although I have had to remove the blower drive belt as there was to much belt wobble/vibration from the harmonic balancer pulley, so I will pay someone to get it running true then hook it up again, had it running boost for 250km's and now I'm addicted lol
I may be buying a stroker kit for my car, fingers crossed
Also the True-Trac arrived, so I just need a day to get that fitted.

Can't wait for my car to have a real LSD in it, a True-Trac that is.

Nice work mate. Thought of turning it into a manual? I imagine manual would be better + way more fun for the track.
But otherwise your doing an awesome job congrats, nice to see you actually concentrating a lot on handling Instead of just power like a fair amount of commodore owners seem do. And ignore any 'put a V8 in it' comments, imagine if all of us drove v8's, BORING!! a mix is good.
Thanks mate,
Yeah I know what you mean and that's 90% of commodore owners focusing on power and not handling.
I definitely will get a manual in the future, just not yet.

The True-Trac is getting fitted next Friday, and my old LSD center is getting pulled apart and checked to see why it failed so quickly.

were did you get the throttle body spacer mate
I made it myself, cost me $10.
Very easy to do if you think about it, so do some research on materials and what not and make one yourself as well![]()

Careful with that True-Trac, the one posted is designed for VT Series 2 onwards which uses BW 80 series diff.
Unless you have otherwise specified, you probably have a BW 78 series diff, I beleive Harrop are the only ones making a True-Trac for that diff currently (much more expensive too!)
diff, all you need to know
