Well if you guys are from around Melbourne and frequent the Campbellfield Skidz you might have seen me and my VS or VX Clubsport kicking around ( or doing drift ringys )
Currently been serving a six month walking expo on my licence due to a slight altercation with the long arms of the law...
But pretty much counting down the last 30 days as we speak and i've put the time to good use boy do i have somthing for the boys in blue this year..
My HSV VX ClubSport, First Whipple 2.9 Blown LS1 in Australia.

Everything is pretty much done, just a few loose ends to finish up ... we currently have the box out putting in the new flywheel and clutch...
If everything gos to plan it should be on the truck to the HP-F sometime next week for the dynotune!
once its all tuned up and running i'll get into making everything look good under the bonnet, then in the final week before i get my ticket back its going in for a full body respray !
Thanks for looking at my baby and i'll be posting more pics up over the next few weeks as the final bits come together !
UPDATES:
I finally managed to get the bonnet to shut without scooping or cutting it ....
Still a few things to neaten up but looking pretty complete, its heading off for its tune at HP-F Monday week..

I'm not normally a fan of custom plates because they make you 2 identifiable, but now something tells me i'm going to have that issue anyways so i think its time to start looking for a set of custom plates for it ... but i'm getting inspiration block... any suggestions people ? ? ?

I can definately appreciate the work done here. Whats your plan for getting the newfound grunt to the ground?
I have a nice set of hoosier drag slicks sitting on 15 B 10 ceptor rims to try and get some power to the ground for test proposes, on a daily basis i haven't quite worked out what I'm going to do about it... I don't really want to goto ceptors on the back day to day cause its going to draw way to much unneeded attention... Clutch and Box should handle it ... future plans to goto a spun aluminium tailshaft ... but my biggest worry is the IRS...
My thoughts are I'll get it tuned up drive it around for a while to get the feel of it because its going to be a totally different car to drive then start working out where to go from there....
Any Input or suggestions on anything are always welcome! Opinions people ?

Just an update.... I Decided on a Mantic Clutch very nice feel and grabs like bitch...
