My 2000 SII Executive Commodore VE Bodykit

hey there guys. i am new to this site and dont really know if im doing the right thing and posting here. i got this car and just want to share and see if i can get any suggestions on anything i can do to it. i bought her stock standard but had kit on her. now she is yellow with 18 inch wheels(will be getting 19 inch chromies within the next few weeks) i put some chrome windscreen things. and 2.5 inch redback cat back exhause last week end and i am prity happy with how it is sounding. still need chrome tip for it.

also want to get some chrome side mirrors. some pacemaker extractors, tint the windows(not 5% as i have had them before and they get annoying at night when i have to wind window down, maybe 18 or something) i have ordered and coming in the mail soon is mace cai, and dvd/gps/heaps of others**** coming in the mail to replace my stock cd player and sound system. also need to get her 160 000 k service on monday.

anything you guys can add would greatly be appreciated.

i need to get more pics when i give it a clean inside and outside.

ive seen some ve kits on vt's still not sure about em post up some more pics of it, you'll never loose that car in a car park lol

yeah more pics... theres one going around near me with the ve bodykit and its one of the ugliest commodores i have ever seen! and i have seen alot of ugly commodores!

no problem with scraping. i have not lowered it at all. do you think it has fe2 springs? will post some more pics now.

fair call man.. but i will be honest.. you should get rid of that kit.. Looks okay .. But still Very ugly on a vt unless done properly.. and that involves custom bodywork ha ha

I think I'd prefer the black mirrors and rims over the chrome ones. Definitely needs to be lower, and what about changing the rear lights and centre garnish? Actually looks pretty good though, and I'm not normally a body kit fan.

yea. i will definetly be lowering. might be getting pedders ssl on front and sssl on back. although i am worried might be to low with the bodykit on. and yea i was thinking about getting some black wheels but i am not sure which ones.any suggestions 19", also how do you change the back garnish because that is the one thing i dont like about it. that way i can get these manaro style taillights that i like and not have to worry about it not going with the vt style bback garnish.

im assuming that bonnet is fibreglass scoops sitting on a standard bonnet???...

if so, that actually looks pretty good for not been fully moulded into the bonnet, well done, would of saved all the hassles i had when i did mine

yea thats true mate. bonnet is fibreglass and is sitting on the standard bonnet. i will get some more pics of the car when i have changed a few stuff. also more of wat it looks from the front.

just paid for some altezza black monaro style headlights and taillights. should be here next week.

about vx style rear garnish. how do you go about changing that? and do they fit straight on if i get some

hey guys just a quick update. got a pic of the car from the front view and i have mace cai, monaro h/lights and t/lights, also been looking at some ultra high ratio roller rockers. wat you think about them, does anyone here have them and do you get some good power gains.

hmmm i reckon with some black altezza headlights the body kit will look alright!

get some foglights for the 4 holes in the bar though

ohh and the vx garnish is pretty much a new boot lid.. easy to fit, its a straight swap... once you get all the parts mentioned your car will look sweet

hey guys havnt posted in a while. got a quick update. i ditched the vx rear garnish because i like the vt style better for some reason.

got some 19 inch xhp chrome wheels
painted dash vivid yellow
put chrome tip
installed dvd player changed door speakers
blue interior light and will be doing dash lights tomorrow
also put seat covers on.
got it 160 000 service done.

am really looking at getting rid of the engine and selling the v6 and drop a v6 supercharger in her or a v8 wat ever i can get my hands on first and depending on price too. also looking at getting calais interior.

how much would it cost to getting the seats wrapped in leather (black with yellow piping)?
