    Default My VT Exec

Here is my stock as a rock VT executive. This is my first car so i want to make it look half decent. What should be the first mod?

    Name: Matt
    Age: 17
    Model: VT Executive SII
    Year: 1999
    Price: $2000
    Kilometres: 185000
    Colour: White
    Engine Type: Ecotec V6
    Gearbox: 4-speed Auto

    Mods Done:
Taken most of the gay sh*t off like Rear Sun Grill, Whether Shields and Mud Flaps, so in other words Sweet **** All.

    Future Mods:
    - VX Rear Tailights and Garnish
    - Some Nice Rims
    - Monaro Headlights
    - 2.5" Exhaust
    - Lowered
    - Personalised Plates (ASAP)
    - Chrome Door Handles
    - Silver Dash, Air Vents and Handles
    - 4 x 6" Splits in front and rear doors
    - Headunit

If anybody has got any of these parts and are willing to sell them let me know.

I will keep updating this thread as mods are done but at the moment you can look at my stock VT because you haven't seen many of them before

go the garnish as one of the first its a reasonable cheap mod if you are going for the calias garnish, i've seen a few you can pick up for $40 then $20 a light

mate i'll make one suggestion,,,,,,,DON'T and i mean DON'T get a VX executive,ss,berlina garnish and light set,,,, every boy racer in a vt these days is doing it, its ugly and down right embarrising, look more at the series 2 calias or even the clubby garnishes, they are so much better to look at and the indicators don't look out of place on the lights :P

also consider finding an ss lip kit, paint your dash and interior accesories, and find some exhaust and intake parts, also look at the how to threads and get a look at cleaning your intake plenum and throttle body

    Thanks for the input fellas

I actually really like the look of the calais garnish and will probably go down that road. Once some wheels get put on I think it should de-gay it a bit more ; )

    Quick question

I've got some tail lights lined up which come with globes and wiring loom, can i straight swap them for the stock vt lights or do the need to be all wired up?

    Thanks

you just need to piggy back the reverse lights from the garnish to the VX lights
this might help: VT to VX taillights
