Hey all. Been on here a fair while so I thought it time so show off my baby.
Nothing special in the least but I love it, she's a series 1 VX Executive manual

Car as it stands now:
Genuine monaro tail lights.
Pioneer Headunit.
JBL Speakers all around, all amped.

As I said before nothing special, I have very little money nowadays (3rd year UNI) so for the minute it will stay relatively stock.

Short term plans (through this year hopefully) :
Swap middle muffler out for a hotdog
VY IRS cradle (got bad camber wear at the minute)
Black Altezza Headlights
Lower SL all round
Get new front seats (long story, the plastics are busted on the drivers side)

Long term plans (over the next 5-10 years) :
3 or 4" roof chop
Full custom fab cage(because I like safety)
Full re-spray, arctic white.
L98 engine conversion
While the engine's out smooth out and detail the bay
Tremec TKO 600 transmission
Harrop Tru-Track Diff
And I would love an alloy drop tank

Thanks peeplz! The tint isn't as good close up hahaha. I was thinking about an SS kit but I think the exec kit will stay for now.
And I'll ditch the muddies when I get her lowered

So I go out to my car last night and I see some suss looking dudes (3) walking towards it, I was a fair way away and then I saw one of them pull out a key.
Needless to say I yelled out (profanities of which I shall not repeat here) they heard and bailed, they only managed to slightly key it on the front passenger
door, still pissed me off to no end.
On the plus side my gearbox and HD clutch are settling in nicely (rebuilt around 3,000 kays ago), still a bit of noise at low revs because of the solid flywheel
but a lot better than it was (first clutch effed the original box then fried)
Just a bit of an update. BTW if anyone has a vx front drivers seat they are selling (or want to give me ) then let me know

Hey guys, got some minor news, I finally got a new set of speakers! I've gone with JBL speakers. Purely because our studio back home
uses all JBL gear and it's never put a foot wrong. I've got GTO608 splits in the front and GTO628 2 ways in the rear. And I now know why
it sounded so crap before, when I ripped out the old speakers (from the retard previous owner) they were all $50 fusion coaxials!
Oh and the amp is just a VSA jobbie that I grabbed off eBay for $80 bucks, I've only had them in for a couple of days so I haven't given
them a big test but I'm so much happier with the sound. I can see why you would get addicted to audio gear

Ugh, I'm fairly sure the shocks down the right side of my car are bitched out, it's sitting about 1 inch lower than the left.
Plus I've got some shudder under hard braking (as well as appalling squeal) and a knocking noise from my front right
suspension which I'm fairly sure is the swaybar link pin. If I'm to replace the shocks I might as well get some moar low.
The equation looks like this
- Brakes : New front and rear rotors + pads. $400 ish
- For the knocking noise : New link pins + replace all bushes(because the whole front end feels loose atm). $400 ish.
- Suspension : Shocks, springs and VY cradle. $700ish
- TOTAL : $1500
These are all high bids so i would hope to get a bit of change from $1500. This will all most likely happen early next year as I'm still at uni for now.

It's been ages, mostly because all of my money is going into university. Higher education FTW!
Anyway so from the above entry I managed to do 2 things over the summer, got the brakes and link pins.
Drives much better now, just thought you ought to know.
