hey guys this is my 97 model vt exc this is my first car and planning to get a ve very soon and keeping it as a project

current mods are
7" dvd head unit with touchscreen and bluetooth
2 12" kicker pro comp subs
6 1/2" sound stream splits up front
6" pioneers in rear doors
6x9 alpines in parcel shelf
plus tweeters near 6x9s
kicker amp plus 2 sony 444w amps
18" vy ss wheels
FE2 springs all round with pedders shocks
had some exhaust work done when i brought it but not sure whats done
painted under bonnet plastics

future mods
clubsport body kit
ultra lows all round
19 or 20" wheels
respray in hyper yellow (i think thats what its called lol)
chrome window surrounds
maybe custom boot install
and leather interior

Hey Mate, Looks nice and tidy.
Dont get body kit unless you spend big and get proper OEM ones, stay away from fibre glass they look crap, they fade & crack, dont do a half assed job.
Other then that looks good, keep us up to date with your progress :-)

please mate hyper yellow is terrible. disgusting even.
if i was you id take your own suggestion and spray it morpheus purple, my mate has a VS stato painted that colour and it looks nuts.

thats the first colour i had in mind and then i seen a vx with the clupsport body kit in hyper yellow and i like it

there is a VX clubsport here in WA thats morpheus purple and it looks so good, has the front grille thingy that they have painted black. looks off its head. i think youd want to have a fair bit of coin saved before you start thinking about a respray though

a decent re-spray is 6k minimum

specially if you want it done properly, it takes a day to strip the car, 2 days prep, 2 days for paint, a day for re-asseble. 6 Days at $90 a hour per person + paint + equipment + charges for spray booth and oven

id just leave it white and mod it lightly if a VE is on the cards

a guy i know said 2500 if i prep it and supply paint ect but yeah i was really thinking of getting a ve jvs or sumthing around that price and then turbo my vt
