Hi mate Ive still got the rims there 18"s and champagne in colour from a distance they look great but the paint is coming off in places and a few gutter scratches so there not 100% but there not buckled or anything Im still tossing up whether to respray them up again and putting them back on the SS and throwing the speedys on the VH but if your serious still in them i can take a few photos to show you but to be honest you could get a decent set of rims for the amount it will cost to respray them.

lol ive tried them there cv8 monaro rims believe it or not they look awful on my car and yet we have the same cars they even have the same stance its the colour of my car....but the CV8s they look awsome on the VH damn wife wont swap the VH mags mind you there great looking mags as well lol)

cheers mate yeah we are a bit of family of commodores the step son has also 3 commodores down in gippsland VZR8 being one of them grrrrrr lol... the VHSLE ive had for 17yrs its still in great condition it should be i pamper it enough and it only goes out on sundays now days and thats with weather permitting . the wife calls it my other wife lol and the wifes VX is a bit of a story shes just odd...shes really a ford fan pfft she wanted a falcon ages ago so i bought her one but we sold the piece of crap and i talked her into getting a VT ex cop car she just loved it but unfortunately the tree she hit didnt it was written off btw always when you lower you cars check that your rack shaft to the ball joint knuckle isnt cracking or cracked hers did it snapped off as she was driving 1 wheel wanted to go one way the other the opposite direction into on coming traffic lucky the wheel grabbed around again and she went the opposite direction and lucky for airbags but un lucky she went bush she took down a few trees one gum tree landed on the roof the SES was called out as people all stopped to help her they all thought the worse she wasnt moving but a couple of guys opened the drivers door looked in... there she was stunned but all good the wife only had a bruised thumb where the steering wheel got her when it spun around and a nice seat belt mark where the seat belt tensioned did there trick...i was called i drove there to the accident at light speed when i got there ...cops firetrucks everywhere and her in the ambulance it was awful to see but thank god it was only the car that was stuffed not a straight panel sorry there was the back LH rear door but i kicked that in to match lol so she was sold on how tough the commodores are so we got her the VX....she said to me after the crash she saw her life flash before her eyes but it all felt calming after the car had stopped it felt like i was on a cloud...I said hun that was the airbag going off in your face lol.....and do you know that car still started up it was pissing out transmission fluid but the engine was perfect.....so yep i love my commodores except there racks grrrrr

up date on the SS with the new rims...Im not 100% sure on them even though i like them its totally changed the look of the car Im tossing up whether to repaint my old VY SS wheels up which are in champagne and throw the new rims on my SLE what do you guys think?...btw please dont tell me to buy other rims this is the choice well actually its not ive got CV8s on the wifes car and AMG on the SLE lol but ive had both of them on b4 i prefer the VY ones because of the champagne colour on the tiger mica or the new rims.

i just like the colour scheme haha. yeah they look great black, i prefer the VYs on the SS, the other ones really suit the SLE
