Bought my VX SS brand new in 2001, dead stock, exactly as it rolled off the assembly line. No real plans for it as yet, it has done a grand total of 72,000km in 10 years.
Still drives like a brand new car.

done the same amount of kms as mine mate, looks tidy.
Thanks... I wouldn't mind dropping it a tad and putting on a set of 19's, after having had it for 10 years you get a bit stale and need a bit of a tweak to regain interest, trouble is I do a few country trips on average roads and at times with 4 on board so a bit hesitate on the lowering. I have also thought of getting into a VE SS but the trade in price on the VX would be heart breaking that is mainly why I have kept it so long, you feel like your giving away a good car for next to nothing. Your Red SS looks good by the way, nice car.
damm, thats a tidy vx, nice work mate,
i dont see the fasination with the VE's though, there ugly (IMO)
fe2's are a great country height, which is why my vt ss hasn't been lowered, but maybe a set of extractors and a new exhuast to give it a new note, maybe that will rejuvinate the passion? that and it will help the engine breath a bit better
VE's look like overweight bulldogs i reckon, go like the clappers though.
I just love the look of the vt/vx's its my favourite shape.
as above maybe a full exhaust and a OTR will be up your alley, there is nothing wrong with leaving it stock looking and having a sleeper.
You certainly have one pristine ride there, you have looked after it well, good work.
