thanks guys yeh was disgusting when i got paid stuff all for it though and saw it had potential bodykit recieved all new paint in correct colours n 2pac also got a genuine front bumper to replace the crappy fibreglass job that was on there
regarding the tail lights and garnish have no idea only seems to different shades of red when looking straight on will have to look into why some more as it is something that annoys me.
hmm i have heard the calais and hsv had a darker shade garnish or some shit like that? so maybe you only got the base model lights. thats just an idea as im pretty clueless about vt exteriors :P

well the garnish is the ss one and the tail lights are from the vt s2 r8 wreck i had. maybe s1 and 2 had different shades of red???
just had a look on google at the different models and it looks like the s2 models (not sure if it was all of them) had the garnish(lighter then s1) to suit your s2 tail lights
but the look you have now is 10x better then if it had s1 lights which would be the same shade of red!

Would be interesting to see how your car feels and what it's capable in comparison to mine.
I've got a feeling mine's 'sick' as in, needs either some trans/diff work or possibly engine, but I think it's more so trans.
mine needs diff noisy bearing, got one here ready to go in not sure if i want to get a set of new gears first though as it is only a 3.07 out of the clubsport, and my trans could do with a service aswell looking at doing a shift kit also.
pick up some suspension tonight that i bought offf ebay nice n cheap still trying to find some ssl rears as i missed out on them
oh well, if I see u out on a cruise or something, maybe u can take me for a quick spin around the block so I can see if it pulls harder than mine or if its about the same etc ??

sounds good mirkz just looked through ur thread and the seem to have similar exhausts. will deff try and get out on a cruise.
walesy yeh had no idea what the previous owner was trying to achieve in the look of the car bodykit was painted with spray cans and wheel silver used for the highlights which were also done incorectly didnt take long to hunt down the proper silver hsv highlight paint code and took me a few weeks to repair and repaint all the kit just finding it abit hard to finish the rest off as i use the car daily and have 4 kids which take up alot of my time also.

hey guys bit of an update some parts i ordered have arrived so far only fitted the sunglass holder with map lights and was suprised at how easy it was.
and these ( i know most are thinking why would you. i couldnt afford a real one at the time and im only doing it for myself making a mock up not for resale etc)
looks good mate, i can understand the mock clubby effect to make yaself happier :P
how much did the glasses holder with lights set you back and whats involved with hooking it all up?
I wouldn't mind putting one in my ss, looks the part
