My vt

hey all, im brett, an im new here.

i have a 6 banger vt executive on GAS, cant complain its my work hake/ family car ,
it was stock with 17"mags when purchased about 3 months ago.

so far done:
pre-fitted gto front bar
ve side skirts
vy clubsport rear bar
vx boot lid with led strip number plate light
vz fluted guards (not fitted yet)
monaro head lights black back ground with HIDs
led tail lights with black back ground

soon to Custom green to gold shifter pearl flake (need warmer weather in perth to paint car plus time an space at work, hope fully done by xmas if car is ready)

fitted kings super lows and new ultima shocks al round (firm ride, still bedding in)
once i get new mags might drop another level,

custom boot install with 2 old skool alpine amps (1000rms mono, 400rms 4 ch) and 2x r type 10" in home made fiber glass boxes (40hrs of work, made for alpine R-types 10" and vt boot only), alpine head unit and blue-tooth adapter for wireless iphone music playing, mb qerts splits in front with 6x9 rear fill, still waiting for the time to paint amp covers and sub boxs at work.

NeeD TO Fix asap:

light oil in coolent.
belt pully bearings(squiling noise on idle so frikking annoying!)
knocking nosie in gear box ( only notice when cold and in park)
new rear tyres
new mags as there slightly buckled

want to do:
ve 19 or 20" mags if the fit vt?
Exhaust
paint
led dash lights
mags

bit about me:
23yo, with two kids, i do have a ford ba xr8 ute (not a grate family car haha)
am enjoing my commodore an should have got a super 6 or an 8 but owell, guess it be easyer to keep my license.

Hey, im also thinking of getting a GTO front bar for my VT, currently got a VT clubsport kit but the front is cracked. Would be very interested to see some better pics of the bar in daylight if you can.

the khrl-46hd i think in rear with new ultima shocks, front khfl-47sl and new struts, once i put then new struts on the front it lifted 1/2-1"

im pritty sure i know where that rear bar came from too as i bought the rest of the car it was off hahaha..

probly that body kit was a good price

hater time im not a big fan on any VE body kit parts on a VT or anything just stand out to much,

but the car looks so sexy on ultra lows.

drivers seat has one small; seem split in it and rear seat few small stains would like leather at later stage, i have replaced drives speaker grill was broken when i bought the car, few lights blown in dash but will fix when i upgrade the globes to leds, being winter i cant paint the car yet,
Thanks to dm i want a sunroof lol

next on the to do list is:
1.rear tyres and balance ect

2.then im gonna get all parts needed to replace heater core, install power windows (front only atm) , crusie control and dash led globes fit it all at the same time as i have to remove the whole dash and seats any ways, im a few weeks away from doing this an really not looking forward to it, but will be worth it once finished

looks like his cross over box for the splits... why not put it inside the door trim? there is plenty of room
