Jakes 2002 VX Wags on 19 VE SSV's

Woah, well here goes, i cant believe it took me this long to get around to this:

Sound System: Clarion 185 watt Head unit, Alpine PDX 1000 amp powering an Alpine 12" Type R sub. Stock speakers.
Engine: Stock V6 Ecotec
Wheels: VE SSV 19s all round


Other Mods: Front Fe2 suspension, rear pedders ssl springs, colour coded all round at bottom, custom plates BA747, Phillips Chrystal Vision headlights, Removed towbar and filled gap with towbar cap, removed door moulds, aftermarket tint - not sure cops did it.

Future Mods: Get panel beating done ASAP, VX SS front bar, Dash light conversion - blue (already have the kit, just need the time to do it), Sl front springs, rear bags, HID headlights, New speakers and tweets, clean and polish the plenum chamber, Possibly exhaust (unsure whether i want to hear the sound of a 6 cylinder ecotec), possibly darker tint.

Also today, i took the time to clean my plenum chamber. It wouldnt have been possible without the help of shooter88 who figured out the perfect combination of chemicals to quickly strip down the grease I will keep everyone up to date.

hahah yeah man the roof racks had to go! of course the last owner of the car lost the roof rack key aswell, so i just went in with vice grips haha . If i have enough money i will eventually bag it all haha

oh yeah ahha funny story about how i got the SSV's, found them on ebay wrongly listed as SV6 wheels, paid 760 bucks for all four of them with minimal gutter rash and still 85% tread

8-9k for a fully engineered set up, 5-6k for a basic set up. That's front back side to side. I'd say around 3k for just the rear.

Ando if you buy the bag setup, you can just bring your car around after we finish our HSC exams and ill help you stick it in... Thats only if you were refering to me when you said you had a mate that could probably help. lol

If you can do the labour yourself you can bag the rear for less then 2k and the front as well for about $3.5k

That's so expensive, I payed $250 for mine brand new and they are $350 for a genuine one from holden

yeah, there are some on ebay at the moment, which are 275 buy it now, but they come in primer

what do you guys think about the brightness of HIDs in relation to getting defected? My mate got some 6000k ones and we put them in tonight, i used to think my headlights where bright and white, but now i just think they are yellow haha, i just dont want to get defected haha
