My VX Executive [Red]

[VX EXEC 3.8]

This is my first car, it's a red VX Series1 ex-Police model.

Engine: 3.8 litre Ecotec V6
Transmission: 4 Speed slushmatic
Suspension: FE2 (Sporty :P)
Diff: LSD 3.08:1
Wheels: 17" VT XU6
Stereo: Stock headunit with some decent aftermarket speakers in it, sounds good.

Extra Features:

- Police interior lights isolation switch, centre console light (I put this in) and engine bay light (also me)
- Reading lights in the main interior light (executive didnt have this),
- Police calibrated speedo with 2km/h marked increments and digital speedo enabled by default.
- Sump bashplate and Chaser spare wheel .
- Also it has a police horn, sounds tough.

Future Mods:
- Maybe some VT HSV XU6 wheels?
- Plenum spacer
- New Exhaust (probably best for when its a manual)
- New Radio/Cd Player

Its pretty stock, and its done 160 thousand k's.

Nice and tidy ride mate I would suggest just as I'm doing getting rid of the trims on the sides doors being a red car and all they just look out of place and the XU6 rims sound like a good upgrade from the 15's

Sounds like a good idea, would it be easier to paint them or remove them entirely? How did yours go?

Also got a new Alpine CDA-105e Headunit and some alpine type G's for the front and some pioneer coaxials for the back.

Cheers, I think they suit the car pretty well. Its on FE2's.
