    Default super6 VT

thought i would throw up my ride, not alot of pics, and its changed since the pics
but its a series one VT L67

    engine mods
    rebuilt to stock specs.
    then
    10psi pulley
    high ratio roller rockers
BYE performance cold air intake and 4" pod intake tube
    ported blower and lim

    ride
dropped, is now tucking the 18s and levelled, handles a treat better too
and yes i took care of the VT camber issues.... ive kept these tires for over 3 months so it must be working

    interior
    does a boost gauge count?

intercooler to be ordered this month sometime, and twin hsv 2 1/4 catback plus some nice extractors to go on as soon as i find some.
billett fuel rails to go on the same time, and i will paint up the rocker covers as ( or buy better lookin ones)
then all thats left is to remove the maf and a nice tune. not the hottest L67 around, but should keep me happy for a while.

yes i every plan on losing the orange blinkers. just gotta remember to tear some clear ones off of someone else car...... thats how they are obtained right? i see it happen to all me mates...

decided i would put the cooler on hold and open the engine instead.
comp cam on the way, and a whole lot of other bits and peices to go with it.
    im excited.

IMO to tuck 18's some part of the rim has to be hidden under the guards, with no excessive weight. i dont see that happening without camira/daewoo springs or airbags.

my display picture there is an example of tucking 20's.

its now lowered all round. I'll get the wife to take some pics when the wife gets home. It dont sit anywhere near as low as yours gen, thats just mad mate
wasnt to concerned about how she looks, but it handled like a boat before.

yeah i can imaging so, love the leather mate, i brought mine with the intent on playing with the L67 and seeing how much i can get out of her, but now i wish i had of found one with a better options pack. its pretty much an executive interior. winder winders ftw!

well i know justin has some pretty tough cars at BYE with the L67. i just couldnt live without a V8

half the fun is making the cars yours mate, plenty of people on here have fitted leather interiors themselves. also worth looking at getting your seats retrimmed in leather, that way you can have whatever colour/design you want, and the price isnt too intense.

been seriously considering it, but i couldnt forgive myself if i put that stuff before the cam and cooler.... which will prob lead to a whole lot of other things. i love a big 8 as much as the next bloke, dont get me wrong, but i love the look on the face of a v8 driver when the L67 does em in.

so cam selected, ended up with a bit of a shopping list
    S2 L67 comp cam,
dropping down to 1.7 rockers to suit.
    new lifters
    double row timing chain setup
    130lb springs
    retainers.
    collets
    gaskets
im sure theres more on there, cant remember it all

the gear wont be installed immediatly, i will be purchasing a mace intermediate W2A setup first and doing all the install work and tuning at the same time.

while im waiting for all that, i might try and source better diff gears. sick of the single pegger too, so LSD at 3.46 sounds about right, hoping i can find a complete diff so i can change over myself, otherwise im paying someone to do diff gears.

I would have thought 105# springs would suffice with the stage 2 cam. The BYE Perf stuff looks good under there you just need a battery cover to finish it off (so do I).

+1 for getting LSD. I found pulley and rockers enough to make my l67 reach the limits of the single spinner when taking off at the lights. Its good for a laugh for a little while but you look like the biggest dick when you try and get a good launch from the lights in the overtaking lane and you end up plodding along with one wheel smoking its tittys off........Fair to say the 215's on the stock rims that came with the car weren't the best tyres in the world

I have the saaaammme problem. My International goes nowhere off the line because the single pegger wont hook up. Had a 3.46 lsd all ready to put in then a tree branch landed on the thing and now I cant even look at her.

catback and extractors went on today. I was pleasantly suprised. previously i couldnt hear the exhaust at all over the blower whine. now its alive. They tell me the tone will change after 1000k or so as it gets some carbon build up. so hopefully it doesnt start to drone.

    LSD goes in tomorrow.
heading up to the drags on sunday, (if the weather improves) hoping to get a good idea of what she can do now so i can really gauge the improvement after the cam and cooler are done.

    135.5kw
    462.5nm
    prodyne dyno

not real happy with that, better speed up the process and get this cam and cooler
