the lsd is a must once you start some engine mods man, Ive currently only got a big ass cai, 1.9 rockers and a 3.4" pulley and I cant move from the lights without looking like a dick. the single pegger is killing me. thankfully i got an LSD coming this tuesday. I'd put it pretty high up your list if you plan on playing with some power mods.

Looking around the area should find me a tight LSD sound pretty cheap. Hopefully within the week if I'm lucky enough. I know about it spinning, put the pacemaker exhaust on yesterday and it's Farkd was raining and couldn't take off like normal. Could spin all day long. New engine mounts, sway bar bushes and LSD and I'm ready for the rockers. paid $150 for the exhaust and they going for $1100 on eBay. Bargain. Custom tune and bigger CAI and leave it at that the interior, set of gauges, I want the 3 led ones that go ontop or underneath the head unit. Covers the gap and I always know how the car is running. Then a set of decent 6/9s, 2 subs and amp on my parcel shelf or a 12" in behind the centre seat. Custom white pearl dash and engine cover, chaser brake light sticker will look awesome at night. And the whitest colour I can get in the dash lights. And yeah will be pretty good if I can keep my licence long enough lol.

I will be selling some high ratio rockers soon enough. ive got a cam going in next month hopefully, so the 1.9s are coming out for some 1.7s. if your still looking then i will do a good price for you. they've only done around 1500-2000km.
fark all that pretty it up work your talking about doing to it, spend your dosh on the engine. the L67 pulls hard once youve thrown a few bob into it.

Was going to go the mace 1.9 but decided to go the split ratio yella terras. Bout $850 installed by TTT. Once they are in I'm not allowed to do anything big until next year. Saving up to buy the mrs a VY SS wagon for the kids. Once thats done I get the car to myself to do as I please. Bulk order from zzp I say lol and a manual conversion. interior won't cost much, allowed to go shopping for guages and head unit tomorrow. Got all the subs and amps and speakers waiting to go in. My mate is doing me the dash and engine cover for a slab when he has his holiday leave in a few weeks. 12 months isn't that far away.

$850?? how much of this is the cost to install? takes 20 minutes to do it yourself. I paid around $500 for the mace ones, and i wish i didnt because now im going the cam, so they got to go. for the gain, i think $850 is a bit steep

Rockers are $670+ $88 install then petrol there and back. Been told they the go for l67 without doing cam. under strict rules in not allowed to touch the car picked up engine mounts and sway bar bushes today. They get done Wednesday. Then I will winge for a week and get rockers, the mrs will see it needs an LSD then and will get the go ahead for that lol. Got to play the women the smart way

they will give you some gain 10kw maybe, i dont think its $800 worth of gain lol, and the YTs wont have $300 worth of extra gain over the mace. yeah keep the smart approach with the woman, i got lucky and married one that as keen as me as to waste money on go fast cars. she has no clue about them, but loves the look, and the fun of doing it, so its all good

Not really the kw that I'm after, more want the mid to top range opened up so I have a bit better play on the highway and country roads. Only had it a couple if months so will get where I want it in the next 12 months. remembering there is kidlets in the back can't go too big for now.

I see a few s packs around the area yet to see one with an l67 under the bonnet. See the occasional calias or berlina with the l67 but no VT S packs.

Engine mounts and sway bar bushes done today, both engine mounts were sagged. Left one was rooted. Sway bar bushes were rooted but knew that. And got a little boost gauge installed. Running 10psi full throttle so car seems fine. Rockers and LSD here we come

yeah i have the lcd. worst idea ever. the young ones car seat is in the centre spot, so he can see it. cannot go anywhere without him wanting to watch the simpons movie. i cant even take the dvd out of the car without getting in trouble. suppose it could be worse, he could be telling me to put on the wiggles every time we go for a drive.

I got the head rest ones and keeps them quite for hours. I think they are a godsend lol. More for the touch screen and to cover the hole I want one. Getting a roof mount when they go on special, On my third set of the headrest ones. Kids keep pressing buttons and stuffing the cords.

yeah head rests might be the way to go, theres nothing worse than having to listen to a funny ass movie and not being able to look over at it while driving. headrest and headphones me thinks.
what kinda price did you pay for the headrests?

The first ones were $170 and lasted a couple if months baught a set on special 1/2 price a month ago for $160 and they lasted 2 weeks so I took them back for refund with no revisit and got $320 back fir them. Was cheering. Now got a white $99 set and they going strong match the car too which Is good. Want the roof mount as it looks better and comes with wireless headphones. Around $500 so will wait for it to go on sale. No rush at the moment for it the headrest ones do there job

There's a write up on installing the mace cai, pretty detailed then I searched around a bit and asked a few questions. I used the mace installing thread to replicate it with cardboard. Then once I was happy I traced around on the ally sheet and marked the bending points and put it all together. In the pic there's the lid, the box and a brace to hold itonight to the engine bay at the factory airbox points. Once the cardboard template is done. Smooth sailing from there
