They are expansive but well werth it, tidies up alot of wiring, coils, ect...
Driver side needs slight modification to fit, hits brake booster

Yeh, I drive mine roughly 400kms a week... I dont do to much heavy traffic, except for coming home some afternoons.. horrible stuff just sitting there bumber to bumber... and when you say it starts pullin round the 3.7k mark do you mean in the same way the old LS1 cam pulls around the 3k mark or do you mean thats when you actually start moving faster then a 6 banger does :P

As for the diff gears, yeah I have my heart set on either 3.7s or 3.9 (i have an auto), an have been wanting them for a while, so I am thinking I might just save up an do a bulk buy from one work shop..

New cam, springs, collets etc etc
    OTRCAI
    Diff gears
and a hi-stall to suit the car since its an auto..
    New injectors likely

an if I got the dosh ported heads or something similar..

see if they can do it any cheaper coz im gunna hit them up for so much at one time.. haha

The cam does give u more bottom end but mostly up high, if your after good low-mid torque and power maybe look at a smaller cam, bigger isn't always better, a 232/234 cam in a auto u would differently want a convertor, without a convertor u wouldn't go any bigger then a 224/224 I put in 3.9's in my mates vy auto sv8 yesterday and its 100% better around town, revs round 2500rpm at 110kph

Yeah I am almost, well actually I am very tempted to get some 3.9s before I get the cam'. Also as for cam' sizing, I definitely will be going into convertor territory... As for the sizes I am considering, my size range is 228/230 - 232/234 depending how I am feeling on the day I book it in i guess. Haha (next year when I have started my new job) But then since I willl need a convertor for either I may as well get the 232 lol..

And yeh, revving at 2.5grand at 110kph is the only thing that puts me off a little, since I do drive distances sometimes.. at 110 for like 4 hours straight, I dont know how much my engine will love that.. Maybe I will just have to go the 'ol T56 conversion :P
