do you know how mm i would sit from the ground if i went SL's on front and SSL's on rear with 19" SSV's? and would i need shocks or a new camber at all? i have a VX Berlina series 2, the camber was upgraded in the series 2 wasnt it? does that mean i dont have to upgrade it?
    thanks

i thought with the same all round, the rear is meant to sit higher not the front? on my car at the moment the rear sits noticeably higher then the front, not sure if its stock or not

yeah, depends what's in the boot to.. like 2 subs and a good box add a fair amount of weght,

i would get your wheel's then springs to suit, if your real fussy. That way you just mesure how far you want it to drop, off the rim and get XXmm lower then stock's.

OR, you just look through other peoples pictures and find out what springs there running

and i would get shortend shocks..
did a frends VS today, altho it was dogey cut springs style to drop it.. Sl's with 3 coils cut Tucks tire half sidewall on 18's

I will never understand why people think scraping your arse on the ground is cool. Why dont you just buy motorised skateboards if you dont like having clearance? Each to his own though, just because I dont understand it doesnt mean it aint right for you.

I wouldnt ask anyone what they think you should do if I were you. For every person that tells you to do one thing, there will be another 4 wanting you to do something else. Just make the mods that YOU want to make.. then you have personalised it. Doing whatever anyone else suggests is having them personalise it. Let em personalise their own car, do yours any way YOU like.

If you drive properly and not take speedhumps head on at 30kms you'll be fine, just dump it and ask questions later

I've seen cars supposebly on SL's that don't even look lowered

If it isnt tuckin, it must be suckin

As Adam said SSL front SSSL rears
as good as it looks i dont think i would want to go that low, would piss me off scraping every speed hump there is, i was thinking just superlows or something, also to get the car to sit level would i go ssl's on rear and sl's on front? or the same all round
If you don't want to go that low then try SSL's all round as said SL's aren't worth the hussle really.

    Should sit something like this..

really starting to wish i waited a little longer and bought a supercharged Calais instead of my standard v6 berlina, seeing as ive bought all the chrome parts and i want calais headlights, foglights, no spoiler >.<
cbf reselling and buying one though, wouldnt get my money back on what ive spent on it so far, grr...

easy enough to drop in a super 6 or v8 into standard v6, if i dont just buy a new super 6 calais then maybe in the future i can just swap motors over when the current one has had enough? really dont know

First pic is SL Front SSL Rear, 95mm on 19's, Massive sub box for two subs, probably weighs 50kg, Stock exhaust (lowest point)
Second pic is SL Front and Rear. 110mm. same shit as before. (Except it has white walls so it looks a little closer to tucking.)

Also take into account the camera angles are different.
SL rear is actually higher than that.

I never scraped on SSLs on 19's. (had 17's and i sat at 60mm; different story)
I hate SL rears, no tuck...SSL rears, Tucks in drive
In their defense, a tad comfier to drive in and legal.

STILL; Compressed sssls are tough as ####.
If you dont care about laws, Slam the ####ing shit out of it.

hey thanks for that, them pics do like quite similar but anyway to get a level look seeing i have nothing in the boot im thinking ill have to go SSL rear and SL front. with the stock height i have scraped the front end about 3-4 times in the 3 months ive had it (driveways, not real steep and high gutters in super market lol) gonna have to be real careful when i lower it i guess
