Hey All,
This is my first post, first holden etc.. Names Daniel I'm 31 from NZ, Been driving Subarus the last 5 years, Mazdas and a Ford prior, Picked up my new baby yesterday for $12K with 165,000ks on the clock



Went and got some 18" Put on her today and now she looks like this



I'm so loving the V8

I would like to mod it somemore (not over the top just basic stuff) I'm re-doing the audio system at the moment putting in a 7" Touchscreen that does DVD/GPS/Blutooth etc..

Yeh I'm quite happy the red leather matches the exterior color, My uncle in Brisbane bought a white VY SS Ute, which made me jealous so I bought this :P

Took me awhile to find out most of the VX/VYs over here are going for like $18K Plus from a dealer with 175000+ K's on it, Didn't want to buy private as I wanted the warranty on it

Looks like the exhaust is standard and the previous owner just welded on a Tip, so might re-do the exhaust and want to get a CAI as well

@Big_Simmo, Funny thing is, the black around the windows has sunfade, but none of the red has? D:

Welcome to JC mate. Very nice ride, love the red leather. Pretty sure those wheels are off my wifes car, does she know you stole them?
If your thinking of doing a otr cai, I personally like the VCM product, I picked up mine, in carbon fibre with a tune for $900, really brought her to life. Think at that time she run about 230rwkw, everything else bar extractors was stock.
Unfortunatly that was only the start and the dollars have kept falling into the car ever since.

Oh I know how addictive it can be, I spent about $5k on my Subaru

Still deciding on OTR or Pod Filter with Box



2 options I've found, 2 pics aren't of a VX engine tho, they are just examples

i really wouldnt bother with a pod in box when compared to the otr. look at all that flow restriction. just me though, each to his own.
5k? haha hope your pockets are deeper than that, the addiction really takes hold at about 15k lol.

I only had the subaru for 1 month and spent $5k on it D:
Then sold it for the holden, I split up with my Partner, no longer needed a wagon, so bought what I actually wanted but was talked out of :P

Bit of an update, I've started to catch the bug, took the car to Torqueperformance and got an OTRCAI and Tune done, According to them I have a Rage exhaust with peacemaker headers on already from previous owner, so that saved me about $2000



Also got some black tail lights
