Well i thought id start a new thread here, You may have more then likely seen my car already in the Raptor category. I haven't got many pictures but will be getting some up soon.

Raptor V prostreet Supercharger kit
600x300x76 intercooler with 3inch pipe
OTR CAI
K&N pod filter
Mace 69mm Throtthle Body
Mace 25mm Plenum spacer
Reversed Plenum
1.9:1's F.I.T Rockers

Exhaust System
Pacemaker Extractors
Single 2.5 Inch Lukey sports exhaust
2.5inch Hi-Flow cat
2.5inch Y piece

Interior
Getrag Billet shifter
VY SS sports pedals
VY gear knob
VY roof light console
Calais 3 window cluster with red facia
Calais interior light and country lights

Exterior
245-35-19 G2 10 spoke mags
Genuine CV8Z Monaro tail lights
VT calais chrome boot strip
VX Calais window surround chrome
Lowered King springs super lows with Monroe GT shocks/struts
RDA Slotted rotors (fronts only so far)

Mods to do
Find a 2-1/4in HSV cats back exhaust. Im after less exhaust note and more supercharger whine and better flow
Upgrade to slotted rotors (unsure on brand)
Cam and roller rocker package unsure on brand/type)
MACE Pod filter box (considering making one)
Satin chrome interior door handles - vents -Vy Handbrake cover
Blue LED interior conversion
Remove wing from boot
Install my subs (might just sell them)

You got lowered shocks too, so it will change a bit but shouldnt be much, nice looking ride, how does it go compared to a pretty stock ls1 do you think?

1) even change them? currently done 94,000km no noise or problems with so far
2) stick with new Genuine ones. which are just Rubber I think????? correct me if im wrong
3) Buy some Nolathane ones! would i achieve any thing if i go this way?

I dont know, Iv'e never put it on a dyno. To be honest i don't mod my car to achieve Hp/KW, I do it for the enjoy and passion.

so i turn 25 in a couple of months.... legally aloud to drive super/turbo charged cars , how much trouble is it to go super ? and does a standard supercharged commy come with an intercooler?

What ever you do, DON'T. Use the nolathane ones. I made that mistake with mine and there as hard as fark, they take ages to settle in and the transfer a lot of vibration through the steering. I'm going to put genuine ones back in when I've got time.

Are you talking about supercharging ur current stock ecotec???? If so, its a very easy job to instill a raptor supercharger kit, as long as your mechanical minded and good with tools.

and as far as i know, none of the factory supercharges commodores came out with a intercooler.

Its not just to get max hp, obviously getting it tuned will get you more power but its also for making sure its running right especially after doing significant mods like your supercharger.

yep supercharge the ecotec... i have a molded front bodykit so i may have to go about the intercooler a different way, top mount possibl? a mate has a supercharger for me for 600, standard one from a standard charged vt i think

yea i fully understand your point, Its had a mail order tune from chip torque and i cant ask its done f*ck all. I would like to get a custom tune on a dyno for it but i don't believe anyone local will touch it because its a v6. most tunes around Townsville only wanna play with v8's
I was told the best thing to do is drive down to Chip Torque them self in Goldcoast and tune it there but that's a huge drive for me

subaru have top mounts??..... or so ive heard.... and yeah just the charger .... dont exactly know what im in for ...

Yea i know subaru have top mounts because i own one but i was talking about one on a commodore. If i was you. I wouldnt but your mates plan charger. Either buy a full L67 motor and swap that way or buy a full bolt on kit such as a raptor/capa kit.

yeah you can, It can limits the amount of power out put tho. It all depends what your after. Also take in to count where you live. If its a hot place like Townsville north QLD can get its highly recommended to intercool it.

Just buy aftermarket rubber ones. They're the same quality as genuine but cheaper. Make sure you replace the bearings as well.
