Finally got the rims put on my car and got it lowered.. everything else is stock for now. New shockers, king lows front, king super lows rear. The spoiler in these pics is just resting on, and hasn't been put on yet. Using the pics as a comparison to see if I like it or not. I'm thinkin I like it =P

Anyway, I'll have more pics up tomorrow, gotta get them from my friend. Just these 2 for now...

They look like VX GTS 19's? Or imitations at least?

Yeah imitation, similar except for the line inbetween each spoke at the top, it's just an indentation and painted. The GTS rims actually separate into 2 parts at the top I think. Anyway, I love 'em. 18's btw.

It is pretty simple at the moment.. next is a decent sound system, then after that will be headers + exhaust. Slowly but surely I'll get this thing going =P

How much are you looking to spend on the car and how long you are planning to keep it for?

The plan when I bought it was that it was gonna be a car to last me a long time and I wasn't going to do anything to it other than put a sound system in it. Now it's lowered with rims.. heh.
No idea what/if I want to do much else with it other than putting the system in, which is gonna cost me another rough $2.5k. But the plan on keeping it for a fairly long time is still in my mind. Only had it since September.

I have seen some cars on the road which wasnt done up probably the car just turn out to be crap and wreck the car, i say if you want to put in the sound system go for it but leave it as it is cause you dont want to over do the car and make it look like a turn off for commodores everywhere

Is that lowered in the pics? i imagined something a little lower

Yeah it's lowered in the pics, I wasn't completely satisfied with how it turned out.. it's sitting nice, but not low. Not even close heh.. and that's with lows front and super lows rear. Doesn't look much different from after I put the 18's on.

Looks hot, gota agree that sure isnt low enough.. When i first looked didnt belive you got it lowered.. Few more inch drop will really give it a better look.

yeah the black in the GTS rims look good against the body of the car which matches. Gt some wax onto it and make it shine.

hmm i thought king springs super lows would be lower than that! maybe check the part number and make sure.
when i had my old mans VY SS rims on with my pedders super low springs the back wheel was tucked under the gaurd right down to the edge of the rim and the front was just ontop of the rubber.
