My thoughts:

After looking for a SS for over 5 months on Carsales i finally found on i was really happy with. Got a StateRoads check done before i flew over and had a look myself. Went over to Sydney on Friday (Australia day long weekend), was happy with it so i drove it back from Sydney to Adelaide on the Saturday. Didn't miss a beat. The car feels much more solid than my previous VX Berlina V6 which had done 250,xxx miles. I'm so happy with the car. Love the Black body and red leather, goes well together. I was planning to change the aftermarket lights back to stock, at least just the back ones, but after seeing them in person i thought they went well with the car.

Eventually planning to cut and polish the paint, needs a little TLC. Also Gonna give it a service soon; Plugs, Leads, o2 sensors, Air filter, Oil + Filter and possibly Fuel filter. Running a little rough at the moment.

How it came:

Looks nice.

Welcome to hell.
Well not really but black cars just need a bit more attention but results always look fantastic.

Repairs from what ya listed should be easy enough to sort.

Haha, yeah i know :). Fortunately i wash my car every week regardless, so it shouldn't be too bad. Can't wait to see how well i can get it to come up with a clay bar, cut, polish and wax :D

Mmm, i'm a bit unsure about debadging and putting VE SS badges on it though, thinking i might wreck the paint :s. Thanks for the template btw! :D

They're those kinda cheap projector headlights from Ebay, i made sure they're pointing down BUT what i found out yesterday was the previous owner has actually put HI Beam halogens in the Low Beam seat in the headlights. So when i'm driving at night i practically always have my Hi Beams on, which i need to change asap.

It's just sitting out a bit. Makes the beam go a bit to the left, nothing major though.

Thanks mate. That's another reason why i wanted it so bad :)

That's one mean and tough looking vx ss mate

Thanks mate. I thought it looked pretty pissed off, that's what i wanted, haha.

Here's a pic of the piece of plastic that's falling down. Any ideas on how to fix it and not look dodgy?

Headlights
Bumper needs to more then likely come off and headlights readjusted.
Theres a bit that sticks out that goes into a hole in the quarter. If not sitting well, then pops out.
Headlights need to be loosened and reseated. then the bumper

Door air vent upper - from memory it clipped in place. (havent taken door trim off in a while)
