First a wash with Heavy duty wash and a sponge..
Polish with Meguairs Step 2 Car Polish..
Wax with Zymol Cleaner Wax..
Takes a few hours.. But well worth it, until you leave it in the rain. Which is bad..

Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Plus, the pod seems to give the car a kick in the arse at about 4-5000rpm, when I'm flooring it.. I haven't looked back, shits on the K+N Panel I used to have..

Shounak,
Nice ride dude. Just a suggestion, try installing a proper cold air intake kit with a snorkel to draw air from outside the engine bay - it'll be heaps better than the pod filter. I had used a pod filter, like yours, for many years until I replaced it with the proper kit. I'm now using a K&N panel filter in the standard filter box and it draws air from the front of the car from just underneath the bonnet - and it is a lot better than my old pod. My old pod setup was exactly like yours - unfortunately it draws in "hot" air within the engine bay.
Check out FIT's intake kit - Type S cold air intake kit $295

Later dude.
p.s - i left Melbourne in 95 when they just introduced the red P plates.....take off if you post some more pics.

I used to have a K+N in there, the unshielded pod is heaps better than just the panel. Warm air into the mixer is probably a good thing for gas, who knows..
But cheers mate..

Ok, yeah, whatever is better for you i suppose. Maybe i wasn't clear, what i mean is the CAI kit like the standard vs supercharge setup. I replaced my standard box filter in my vr to an open pod like what you've got and of course, it was much much better, then i replaced the open pod filter with the vs over-the-radiator snorkerl into the seal box with a K+N panel filter and it is better than the open pod, very noticeable at night when its colder.
Later man.
