Hhahahah.. Yeah it's a Pod.. I originally got it because I blew up two airboxes from my gas system backfiring.. I just chucked a Pod in and it's been absolutely awesome..

Haven't found the need to mount it or anything.. Can't be f*cked tbh..

Yeah she does need Viagra, I'll wait til the P's are gone first..

Springs are stock.. I'll probably dump it and change the shockies after I pay the rims off.. Either that or extractors.. I'll wait til i've got cash first though..

Beautiful ride mate, can see you've spent lots of time on it and it pays off, love the tail lights, they're different and not just Monaro ones, and they're not shiny silver.. the headlights look mint too.. Just be careful of that air freshener, I've seen on here about one leaking and it ruined the blokes dash

    Default nice pod

Nice!! The pod looks awesome. What did you do with the air/temp sensor thingy that is on the original air box? Any difference with the pod?

    Thanks

I just left it.. Apparently that's the only thing that makes the set up unroadworthy, according to Vicroads.. I don't think a cop will notice though.. I hope not anyway..

The other option would be to rip the sensor off the airbox (sawing) and the chuck the sensor somewhere and just connect it..

I'll only do it if I really have to..

It's a lot better.. The system's running heaps smoother and I'm getting better mileage.. With about 15% highway and 85% city driving I get 400-420km out of a tank.. Which also includes a bit of lead footing..

Plus, the pod seems to give the car a kick in the arse at about 4-5000rpm, when I'm flooring it.. I haven't looked back, shits on the K+N Panel I used to have..

    Default sensor thingy

Do you or does anyone else know what the sensor on that air box does? Surely it's meant to be there if the car comes with it.

    Cheers mate..

Head unit and speakers will always stay stock.. I couldn't care less about it.. All I need is a cd (or radio) playing at a reasonable level and I'm happy..

I'd spend that money on the exhaust and whatever else will come next..

Hahahah the fly.. Yeah.. Nice spot.. How closely were ya lookin?

Oh fair enough, I just like a clear crisp sound, never found the stock systems to be any good, including my Camry. Exhaust would be a good option though! I was looking at the badge, and besides your reflection is kinda obvious...

Wow car's coming along well mate, nice work. How much did you pay for your front and rear lights though? I'm looking at getting some at the moment. Found rears for roughly 160-180 but can't find front..

Our car's are going to be looking near identical when I get those done, cept for the painted fascia. Also, how much do the PODs go for and are they easy to install? I'm getting poor power from still and want to make it breathe a little better. Thanks mate

Thanks mate.. The front lights were $275 and rears were $180.. I know the bloke who does front lights, I bought them a little while back..

Where are you located? If in Melb you can pick em up, otherwise he posts..

The pod was $50.. Took me 5 minutes to install with a screwdriver..

I'm not sure if it will increase power from still, but it definitely increases power in high revs whilst driving.. Gives it a kick in the arse, a big one..
