Hey all. Thought id already done this, but it appears i havent. most of you have probably seen it on other sites around already, but here goes...
Its a 1999 SII VT Commodore S. Has been resprayed in a custom blue/purple mix (based on original Bermuda Blue), rear spoiler removed, SS foglights added. Other additions are the clear tail lights, VZ monaro bonnet and calais chrome grills. It rolls on 19" Alba Banks, and is lowered using Kings Springs (what car isnt). Interior is fairly stock, bits of the dash are colour coded, some silver highlights, and some more calais chrome bits. Stereo is pretty basic, but its what im working on next. Engine is where the fun is. Started life as a factory supercharged V6. Since then its received 17psi, intercooler, high ratio rockers (1.9:1), pacemaker headers, 3" exhaust, and a custom tune. The auto has been rebuilt stronger, and now has a stage 2 shift kit. Its put out a best of 245rwhp. Thats pretty much my ride. Its pretty much at the stage where im happy with it. Over time I guess I will gradually upgrade the stereo and id like some new seats, possibly leather. but as i said, this will come over time. So yeah, thats it.
Thanks for looking.

Matt
This is the only engine bay shot i have at the moment. still alot to do in there. needs to be painted to match outside, as its still original colour, and just some polishing/chroming and a general tidy up wouldnt go astray.
thought i should probably update this thread a bit. Recent additions to the car include: 1.97 rockers, 5% overdrive balancer, larger cooler (600*300*76), set of HSV 330/315mm brakes, LSD with 3.46 gears, new headunit - Alpine IVA-D310E, and most recently a retune at BPS coming out with 270rwhp (201rwkw). Hopefully ill pick the car up tomorrow, but from the quick drive i had yesterday, its bloody awesome. will get some new pics and post them up shortly. Thanks for lookin.

man that is one crazy ride....How long have you had it for?
ive had the car for around 3 years, but its only been in this state for about 12-18 months. been a gradual build.
yeh kool, it looks very nice
Looks awesome mate. That colour is brilliant. Very nice car, well done.
What a nice paint job. It's a very sleek looking ride. I love how the back wheel is just under the guard in the first pic. I can't wait to get my car lowered.
yeah thanks for the comments everyone, appreciate it. one day id love to do some more work on the stereo and maybe get the interior done, but ill wait and see what happens.
Just keep spending antvt. I have had the joy of going for a ride in it and it goes hard and quick. And looks good. But I won't be spending as much $$$ as you have. Are you driving it up here after Xmas next year??
