98' VT Ex. MY PRECIOUS!!!!!
This is my car...
1998 VT Executive.
Just a few things that were on it when I bought it...- Genuine VT "S" Kit.
- Redback 2 1/2 inch sports exhaust.
Bought the beast in June last year, on the 19th. It had 128 500kms on it when I bought it, and now sits a few thousand behind 150. I paid a little bit over $7000 from the auto auctions.
No current faults, apart from BCM and a ignition barrel.
Very clean car inside and under the bonnet. Recently has had fitted:- 4 new tyres, 205/65/R15's, Michelin on the front and Goodyear GA PLUS on the back.
- Clear side indicators.
- Radiator hoses.
- Radiator flush and clean.
- Bendix General CT front brake pads.
- New RDA disc rotors on the front.
- Genuine GM Monroe VT shock absorbers.
- Nolathane upper shock absorber bushings
- Topgun ignition leads.
- NGK spark plugs.
- Gas bonnet struts.
- Nolathane Sway Bar bushings.
- Nolathane performance Sway Bar Link rod kit.
- K&N Panel filter.
- Genuine GM fuel filter.
- Genuine GM oil filter and "ELF" 10W-50 Fully Synthetic oil.
- Full transmission service including computer testing, filters and fluid.
- Colour matched mirrors.
The beast drives as good as the day I got it. Next thing to complete is tinting as it has faded over the years, a well looked after car is always a pleasing car. Another VT sucsess.
The beast also has 2 brothers, a VK V8 Calais and a VZ SS "Chev" Red Ute.

 Its finally up!! Very nice, looks better than i thought! (and you dont seem to sure if its a series one or not  , it is series1) Are the back lights tinted or does it just look like that? Very nice

Funny that... My VT is my girlfriend!! haha. N good job with the polish, last time i spent 2 hours washing my car it rained 5 minutes after i was done

AH man it rained that night too, i was so ****ed off!!
ha ha nah not tinted!!! i love my baby! i am defenetly getting some 18's heh but i need to work out the dealio with engineering!!

thanks! im gonna take them tomorrow, my dad was obsessed with buying privately after he got a lemon from auction, but really, privately people are such rip offs!

Argh! Its got a full 'S' bodykit too... i just noticed that! sweeeeet.. Cant wait to see those other pics! Just something you might want to look into, changing the side indicators from orange to clear, also the back lights getting series 2 (with the clear indicator) check out my car to see what i mean! they would really set it off... although it looks great just as is!
