cheers man its not that hard really, just time consuming more so than anything specially if ur starting from scratch, if u wanna hand u can always give us a call ay.

i would have re trimmed the lot 2 but i use the boot alot so i could easily see the material gettin marked and dammaged so i left the floor area as is with somthing hardy and still able 2 get my spare out with out touching the gear so its just somthing practicle and simple.

Well got a call from the old man last week, wanted his shed cleaned out b4 winter hits where my front bar was stored, so decided after getting some inspiration and motovation back from a douche bag forum member recently, decided 2 go pick it up and bring it home. was at home no more than 15 mins and thought **** it im gonna put it on now and see wat it looks like all painted so i did

Bar still needs a respray from the lack of detail gone into preping and spraying the bar from my bros mate a couple years ago now so went and got a quote 2 respray and fix up all the imperfections i didnt like on it + get the boot holes welded up and have the big **** off wing put on LOL so they r going into a shop on the 13th of may so then the car will all b but complete finally. Tho i will b on the look out 4 a monaro bonnet so thats all id have planned 4 it really i think.


got some black mesh 2 hide the radiator and ugly bits that u can see, also thinkin i might b best getting a black slim line plate 2 put on the front bar wen its ready as the original plate does look a lil large on it, i dunno?

just wanted to say a great big WOW.. i am in love with the front bumper haha.. it makes this car look so very awesome.. with the kit done i cant wait to see it all compelted!!..
as per your post F*** the haters man its your car and its glad to see you doing what makes YOU happy

MAYBE when your ecotech dies you should chuck in a 5ltr or a l67:P

cheers mate haha im just glad im no sheep and prefer the not so common look and found a kit i liked that matches the overall shape of the car ay.

hmmm i think if it did die id much prefer putting an LS motor in it not 5ltr only coz well ive already got 1 haha and they dont do that well in these heavy cars LOL so the other option if i find cheap enough would b L67 coz it might b less work and parts ect... involved i dunno.

cars been at the panel shop 4 a couple days now should see it back with in the day or 2.

Also finally managed 2 think of somthing 4 personal plates that wasnt taken yew should suit me and the car well haha not sure how long these take 2 arrive tho.

Got the car back sat afternoon, car needs a good polish inside and out from being at the panel beaters lol he only gave it a quick wash. Took me a bit 2 get my head around the spoiler LOL but lookin at the car as a whole it definatly suits it so im happy with the end result. The paint finish was actually better that i expected so think i may have found myself a new spray painter











if i was pick anything i think mayb the spoiler could have sat a lil further back on the boot lid but that may have not been possible coz of the boots internal bracing not allowing u 2 screw the spoiler down? not sure.

cheers mate yeah i did have that in mind, i told the guy not 2 worry about blending in the panels 4 that exact reason, will do it wen i do find a bonnet 4 it tho. would love the metal 1 but dunno if id find a decent 2nd hand 1 any time soon, so dunno if i should go down the fibre glass type path, havent yet seen a fibre glass 1 in person yet 2 check out the quality of them 2 decide.

cheers mate will have a look into it 4 sure. haha yeah ppl will and it does kinda make me love them even more but as said a few times b4 ive got these lights simply coz they r black so they match everything else thats black on the car.

well yesterday took my steering wheel off 2 replace it with the leather 1 i bought but cant really say its changed much look wise inside haha tho its nice n tight up top so im happy enough.

Plates arrive on wednesday tho picked them up yesterday. Looks so much better having the black back round

Those plates are kick ass and although I am a Just Commodores virgin and not privvy to the hatin, the plates are a fantastic middle finger and I have been reading threads here for inspiration on my own car and yours is one i have just read most of and I am impressed.

I admit I hate the rear wing right now but I can see it as something that WOULD grow on you...
