    Default WH Series II Caprice.

I've always had Commodore wagons in the past, mainly for work reasons, but after taking the Caprice for a test drive I decided it was time for a change, so I traded the VT in.
I don't think I will do any modifications apart from so new wheels perhaps.

Forgot the wheels and have a tune done, even if it isnt the exhaust, at least then your car will feel like it boogies

Thanks for the compliments fellas, I appreciate it.
I'm not in too much hurry to get new wheels because I don't really mind the ones that are on there, I think they suit the car.

I will get a tune as you suggested Minux, as soon as I recover from the ridiculous rego transfer fee we have in NSW, $720.

It cost me $24,000. I don't know if that's good or bad because it was a spur of the moment thing and I didn't really shop around.

Hey.. nice Caprice. Plan on ditching the woodgrain or has it grown on you? I wonder if it ever occured to Holden to replace the easily marked suede lower door trims with leather.. hmm..off to the trimmer!

Thanks. I'm keeping the fake woodgrain because I don't mind it. Would be much better in real wood.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, insurance is a killer for younger people, I don't know how they can afford it. But as each year goes by it gradually comes down to a more affordable price. Before you know it you will be able to get a stato and I'm sure you will love it. They are not as expensive as people think, second hand.

Thanks, one day when I've got spare cash I'll get some wheels but for now I don't really mind the ones I've got. Wheels like yours would look good on it though.

Thanks fellas. Yes it is an interesting colour. Haven't really done anything to it, lack of funds as usual and I'm getting on in years and am happy enough with the power of the stock engine. A nice set of wheels is on the list.
I did add the level ride suspension components and it comes in very handy because I tow a trailer just about every day and there is about 100 kg of stuff in the boot, now the car stays level.
